Getaway

Very clean. Next to the park. We walked yo river street. It was about 2 miles but got to see so much. So it was a really good location. We had to park on the street but there was plenty of spots. Only negative thing was the couch it was very uncomfortable. Could use replacing

Excellent location and easy access--just be ready for a bright room to sleep in

This property was located in an excellent location, but with that being said, the bedroom is at the front of the home and therefore, is very bright at night (even with the blinds closed). Outside on the main street directly in front of the rental is a street light and also 2 lights for the walking path around Forsyth Park. This makes for a very bright room with all of the light on the windows. I had read a previous comment regarding this, so I brought a cover with us to cover the closed blinds and it was still incredibly bright in the room. I also brought a sound machine with us because a previous reviewer commented on the street traffic noise at night. The sound machine worked perfectly to filter out the noise, but the cover I brought didn't. Overall, the house was very nice and such a great location. Very clean and all necessities were provided, even to include some fold up chairs to enjoy sitting in the park. Would recommend staying here, just be aware that the bedroom is very bright at night.

Acceptable with Reservations

Management was great. Had an A/C issue and they were on it immediately. The mattress and sofa are garbage. It ruins a vacation when you have to sleep on a mattress that is past its useful life and a sofa where the springs poke your rear. Owners: do the right thing and replace the furniture when it needs replacing. I shared with the management company and could infer from the very politely stated reply they knew it was an issue that wasn’t going to be handled by the owner. That’s a shame. Unfortunately I will remember Lucky Savannah as the property with the bad furniture. Lease with caution. Four nights of my husband and I falling into each other in the middle of the bed and I’m glad to be home.

Forsyth Park Gem

Great location. Beautiful park across the street. Quiet. Very comfortable king bed. Nicely appointed. Walked to many restaurants and enjoyed Saturday farmers market in park. Highly recommend.

Few things would make it better

Good local except new skillets are needed for cooking! Also noise level of traffic outside bedroom window is continuous till around 3:30 am! On the plus side excellent walking distance to everything one would need

Excellent location for walkers. About a mile to the river/downtown area. The apartment was very clean, quiet, comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen. I would add curtains to bedroom to block out street lights as the blinds aren’t enough.

Returning Home

As a native to Savannah from my childhood, I wanted a place to bring my family so we could explore together. I knew Forsyth would be great for the kids to run around and get energy out, and being in the middle of town is a great location. I could’ve never guessed I’d find such a perfect little place right on the main arteries through town. Perfect place if you don’t want to do much driving once you’re here, and it was very peaceful when we did spend time inside. They had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will be back!

Delia Row experience

We had issues with air conditioning upon arrival. Landlord addressed but Lucky did not follow up to be sure all was resolved. Floor under king bed was filthy- not good with a crawling baby. No drain plug in bathtub. Again a problem with bathing 2 babies. Otherwise all good!

Great Stay

The property was great. It has everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and there was a nice large closet in the bathroom. The best part is the view from the bedroom windows. You can see all of Forsyth Park. Parking was also easy and free on the street next to the building.

Nice apartment, very noisy

The apartment itself is very comfortable and nice, furnished well, great view of Forsyth Park. The building, however, lacks any semblence of insulation, every sound and footstep in the adjacent staircase and upstairs apartment is amplified by the high ceilings. Light sleepers beware!
