Perched on the third floor of a carefully restored Savannah manor, Park House Studio 2A offers a light-filled retreat overlooking iconic Monterey Square. Tall windows, French doors, and classic architectural details reflect the home’s historic roots, while modern finishes support an easy, comfortable stay in the heart of the Historic District.

The studio layout is thoughtfully arranged, with a queen bed positioned across from a full bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, handmade ceramic tile, and generous storage. Just beyond, the galley-style kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, a glass-top range, dishwasher, and the essentials for preparing simple meals or enjoying a quiet morning coffee before heading out.

On mild days, open the French doors to let in the breeze from the private balcony—an inviting spot to take in the rhythm of the square below. Keyless entry allows for a smooth arrival using your individual access code.

Located just moments from the Fountain at Forsyth Park, the studio is also within easy walking distance of Savannah favorites such as Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room, shopSCAD, and Alex Raskin Antiques. Stroll north toward the river to pass through the city’s signature squares, with stops along the way at places like Adam Turoni Chocolates, The Collins Quarter, and The Paris Market.

Construction was interrupted by the American Civil War, and finally completed around 1868 by the new owner, John Wilder. The Park House Studio's location was ideal for our trip to Savannah. We were able to walk about 5 blocks to the Kroger grocery store and a few blocks to the free bus services. Easy walking distance to a variety of cafe's and restaurants as well as most attractions. We took an Uber from the airport to the Studio, other than that there was no need for a car. In fact, a car would have been expensive as there is only street parking which requires card payments at the meter stations on the block. Only downfall, not meant as a pun, is that the floors sloped which caused items to roll down towards the door when dropped onto the floor. Walking was a bit precarious as I do have a balance problem, but it didn't seem to bother my partner as much. Can't beat the location!

Great Stay, Perfect SpotThis rental was exactly what we were hoping for. Being right on the square made such a difference; we could actually enjoy Savannah without constantly getting in the car. River Street and Forsyth Park were both an easy walk, which we took advantage of pretty much every day.The house was beautiful and comfortable. No complaints at all; it had what we needed and then some. We spent our days wandering around eating our way through the city (so much good food) and just soaking up the whole vibe of the historic district.Savannah is one of those places that’s even better than you expect, and having a home base like this made the trip that much better. Definitely recommend if you’re planning a visit.

The most idyllic Savannah location! We parked our car on Friday and didn’t drive it again until Monday when we left. Everything was within walking distance. And our VRBO was perfect for just the two of us. Cozy with the best views out the windows. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great for a solo trip!

This unit was perfect for a solo trip to Savannah! The location is perfect and I loved the windows looking over Monterey Square. They let me extend my stay to arrive before a big storm and I was able to use the kitchen and work during the rainy day. There were some issues with the wifi but they were very responsive via text and sent someone out to fix it promptly. Great experience, very cute!

Perfect spot with a view

Loved our stay at The Park House. Convenient to everything. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Enjoyed watching and listening to the tours as they went around the square. Very quiet neighborhood. Will definitely book again.

Amazing Location & Space

This was just as pictured. My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend in Savannah and this was the PERFECT little spot for us! Walkable to all things Savannah, in an adorable row of houses and the corner unit so we could swing open the juliette balcony doors on one side and enjoy the windows that overlooked the square on the other side. Received a text when our unit was ready. Would absolutely stay here again!

The Best!

We were so pleased with our stay. We absolutely loved the location. The studio is located right in the center of everything you would want to do while staying in Savannah. The studio felt equivalent to staying at a 4 star hotel. Every time we visit Savannah we will be sure to book this location if it’s available.

Perfect location!

The location of this property is perfect! Very close to a beautiful park and walking distance to everything my daughter and I wanted to explore. Furnished with all the necessities and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely recommend this rental and would stay here again.

The studio was as pictured. The setting was beautiful and very convenient. The kitchen was efficient, bed comfortable, with a very nice bathroom. The flat could use a few more dishes for example a salad bowl, containers for leftovers. The rug around the bed was very stained and should be replaced. These are minor complaints for we liked the facility very much. Adele

Weekend Anniversary Getaway

I am overall very satisfied with the property. The room was just as advertised. The apartment sits in Monterey Square so it’s a very short walk to Forsyth Park and all of historic downtown Savannah. We ate breakfast at Collins Quarters in Forsyth two of the mornings while we were there because of the short walk and great food. The only thing I was disappointed in was how much sound travels into the apartment from the hallway. A thicker door with sound dampening could resolve this. I am looking at reserving this place again for my next trip to Savannah.

Heads Up - very noisy inside

The place was in a beautiful location & inside was perfect. Even found free parking for the entire time on same block. The issue with this place is the noise inside when people in other units come and go…doors banging and loud footsteps especially early in morning when others trying to sleep. Could also hear conversations and endless coughing of the people across the hall . Like cardboard door . Just bring ear plugs in case.
