Recently Refurnished Living & Dining Spaces
Oglethorpe Estate has been thoughtfully refreshed with new furniture, décor, and updated design elements selected to complement the character of the historic home. The interiors balance traditional details with a polished, elevated style, creating comfortable spaces for gathering while allowing the home's original architecture to remain part of the experience. The main house begins on the second level, above the separate garden-level unit. Here, the spacious living room serves as one of the home's primary gathering areas. New furnishings, including comfortable leather sofas and carefully selected accent pieces, create a refined setting for relaxing after a day in downtown Savannah. Tall windows bring natural light into the space, while hardwood floors and traditional architectural details add warmth and character. With generous seating and an open layout, the room provides plenty of space for larger groups to spend time together without feeling crowded.

Nearby, the formal dining room provides a dedicated space for shared meals, morning coffee, takeout from a favorite Savannah restaurant, or an evening spent at home. The dining area continues the home's elevated design with classic furnishings and décor that feel appropriate to the historic setting. The main house also includes a full kitchen equipped with full-size appliances, generous cabinetry, and counter space for preparing meals, storing groceries, and keeping drinks and snacks organized throughout your stay. Sleeping accommodations are arranged throughout the main house and garden-level unit, with a total of two king beds and six queen beds. On the second level of the main house, the first bedroom features two queen beds and an airy, inviting design. A sitting area within the room provides an additional place to unwind, read, or enjoy a quiet moment away from the main gathering spaces.

The second bedroom on this level features a king bed surrounded by serene colors, layered textures, and thoughtfully selected accents. Two armchairs create a separate sitting area within the bedroom, while a desk and chair provide a dedicated workspace for guests who may need to check emails, work remotely, or catch up on a few tasks during their stay. The bedroom also includes an ensuite bathroom with a tub and shower combination for added convenience. Continue to the third level, where two additional bedrooms each offer their own distinct style. One bedroom features two queen beds along with a sitting area, providing plenty of room for guests sharing the space. The second includes a king bed and another comfortable sitting area, creating a relaxing retreat at the end of the day.

With 5.5 bathrooms throughout the estate, larger groups have plenty of space to get ready and settle into their own routines. The main house includes 4.5 bathrooms across its upper levels, while the garden-level unit offers one full bathroom. This convenient arrangement allows guests staying in both portions of the estate to enjoy easy access to their own bathroom facilities.

Rather than relying on one central room, guests can gather together when they want while still having separate areas to spread out throughout the day. In addition to the main house living room and full kitchen, the garden-level unit includes its own separate living area and a second full kitchen equipped with full-size appliances. The additional kitchen provides valuable extra storage and preparation space, particularly when several guests are staying at the property. Groceries, drinks, snacks, and meals can be divided between the two kitchens, making mornings and group gatherings easier to manage. The garden-level living room creates another comfortable space for conversation, watching television, or simply taking a break between Savannah outings. Heated Pool Access
Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on the South End of Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties, it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island. The Pool is open during the below dates and times.

March 1 - Oct 31: Open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm.
Nov 1 - Feb 28/29: Open Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm

Additional Pool Hours available during the off-season are listed below. If these dates fall in the middle of the week, the pool will be open as listed below and every Friday and Saturday.

Guests with Pets
This property happily welcomes your furry travel companions! Guests may bring up to 2 dogs, with a combined weight limit of 50 lbs. Pets must be added to your reservation at the time of booking, and a non refundable $130 pet fee will apply.

Long-Term Stays
For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For these reservations, we require an additional cleaning at a cost every 30 days. The cleaning cost varies by property. Our office will be in touch to schedule.

Occupancy
City of Savannah Code of Ordinances, Division II, Part 8, Chapter 3 (Zoning), Article 8.0, Section 8.4.37(b) – Short-Term Vacation Rental Use Standards: Occupants shall not exceed four adults for dwelling units with no more than two bedrooms. For dwelling units with three or more bedrooms, the number shall not exceed two adults per bedroom.
