Renovated Coastal Apartment by Forsyth Park with Parking by Lucky Savannah

Up to six Lucky travelers will feel at home in this two story apartment, just a stone's throw away from Forsyth Park. The Lynwood Collection on Forsyth is located on Historic Gaston Street and has been renovated top-to-bottom. Coastal decor ties the space together and creates an inviting space for guests to relax. Enjoy morning or evening strolls beneath the Spanish moss trees, and start your adventure discovering all Savannah has to offer.

Entering on the second floor, you will be provided a secure key code unique to your stay, that ensures safe entry as you check in to your home away from home. Nestle into your coastal digs by gathering together in the living space fitted with a flat screen TV. Guests are welcome to access their streaming favorites like Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime. A half-bath has been tucked between the kitchen, and living room, ideal for guests who will be using the queen-size sleeper sofa.

The bright and airy kitchen features an ample amount of counter space, including a large island that can seat your entire group. Guests will enjoy having modern conveniences, such as stainless appliances, and a full-size washer/dryer. Enjoy a glass of wine or a morning cup of joe on the balcony that sits off of the kitchen.

Head upstairs to find two bedrooms, that are furnished with a king and queen size bed. The primary bedroom floods with natural light, a flat screen TV, en suite bath with standing shower and a spacious walk-in closet. Next door, the second bedroom is home to a queen size bed and a second en suite bath with tub/shower combo!

  • Designed by John S. Norris for General Hugh Weedon Mercer, construction of the house began in 1860. Great location, comfortable home. The only issues we had was not enough wash clothes for 4-guests register, however, I left a voice message and washcloths were delivered to the door promptly. The other issue was the fridge’s ice and dispenser did not work, also informed but not repaired during our visit. We had to scoop the ice out and purchased bottled water. Another of note, the wall in the queen bedroom has a very unsightly beginning of a repair job. Disappointed the home does not have an outside retreat area, only 1-flimsy chair overlooking the parking lot. Overall, I would stay again, but I don’t think it would be my first choice.

The house and location are wonderful! Having a parking spot made unloading and loading easy ... as well as not having to worry about finding parking! The host was extremely welcoming and accommodated a special request without hesitation. Furthermore, their communication was superb! The house is a bit dark since there are only limited windows in the home, there's no view, and the bathrooms are small (all reasonable for an older, city home). However, the furniture was great, kitchen is well-stocked, a washer & dryer is provided, and it's close to Forsyth Park! Linens, soap, paper products all provided! Super clean! Would definitely rent again!

The townhouse was so nice! The kitchen was well stocked was so bright when we arrived. Walking through we realized the photos on the website were spot on! The living room was comfortable and spacious. Both bedroom were great and having a bathroom for each a huge plus. White fluffy towels were great too! Being so close to Forsyth Park and the historic district made exploring Savannah easy.

Very clean and nicely decorated with great location. Truly appreciated the on-site and free parking. Being right across the street from Forsyth Park was great and the homes on the street, including those directly across the street, are so impressive. Only had two challenges: 1) you can hear a lot of noise from street outside front bedroom which can make sleeping a little challenging, and 2) the handle on the bathtub faucet in the front bathroom is broken and needs repair. Would definitely stay again

Lovely rental next to Forsyth Park. It was a bit of a hike from the riverfront, but the DOT bus was usually available. We really appreciated the reserved parking spot and only used the car for a trip to Tybee Island and Bonaventure Cemetery. The rental was plenty big enough for two couples and it was great to have 2 full baths upstairs plus the half bath on the main floor. Everything was very clean, with linens and towels awaiting us. We didn’t use the kitchen except for breakfast and snacks but it was mostly well stocked. The only things we missed (that other rentals have provided) were coffee filters, plastic wrap for leftovers, and tissues. Another plus was that the location was quieter than the downtown area. We would definitely stay here again.

The place was nice but we were without air conditioning for over 24 hours. The owner never responded and the property management team had to get the ok from owner for each step and it took over 24 hours. We finally moved at 9 pm at night which isn’t good. I as an owner of rentals feel you need to prepare for breakdowns and your normal team is out of pocket to let your property management team have the go ahead to make decisions.

Unlucky Savannah. Unfortunately, there was an obvious leak in the primary bathroom shower. When we tried to use the shower on our first night, there was a large puddle of water in the kitchen below and on the floor of the bedroom wall adjoining the shower. Multiple calls were answered by very sweet people, but nothing was ever done about the leak, and no follow up at all. There were visible signs of black mold around the air vents and on the ceiling. Definitely will not be renting from Lucky Savannah again. Sad, because it’s a great location and could be a nice place.

Great location near the park. Quiet neighborhood but quick walk to downtown so it was perfect for us. The bathrooms are super tiny, that was the only thing that was not ideal. But we appreciated there were three (vs most we looked at had one-two).

Parking issue

House had few minor appliances broken one side of bagel toaster shower in room with tub was to hard to turn on had to use shower in other bedroom note we did not call for repair as we had full schedule and no time to wait on repairs . Parking was a nightmare no street parking available and our space was so small and constantly blocked by someone illegally parked it was terrible you felt like you were you were in a obstacle course we extended stay but went to another place better parking but still in historic location. Everyone was was polite.

Great Spot, Attention to details could be better.

Loved the location, property overall. Close to parks, walking distance from everywhere. Really nice neighborhood. We really liked it over all. There are several things that I feel need to be addressed in the unit with a better cleaning crew and some love.ie. Things were very dusty, or vents were caked with dust, dryer lint trap had not been cleaned in weeks, Water damage on bedroom wall due to leak in ceiling. • The kitchen ceiling had water damage from upstairs bathroom shower. It leaked on a guest while someone was upstairs in shower. We contacted the office, and was told maintenance would be there, but not sure if someone actually came to take a look. Expected a little more attention to detail for the money paid.

Excellent house in the perfect location. Heed the warning about car size. Sedan or small SUV is the max for the parking spot. Had everything we needed. Responsive ownership. Provided check-in and out information in a timely and easy manner. Would definitely book here again.

Great place

Communication was excellent and check in super easy. Location was awesome! Quiet street and across the street from the park was a plus. Only one suggestion would be to have a few more kitchen essentials. No baking sheet or pot holders to be found. Otherwise it was a perfect for a family getaway.

Location, location

The location IS unbeatable and that made US overlook everything that can be improved.The place IS very well equiped but no coffee, sugar, oíl, salt or pepper are provided.Great TV with every streaming and Channel you can imagine and 2 and 1/2 smallish bathrooms are great. But the renovation IS super shoddy. Water bubbles and mold stains everywhere. And one day we had a severe storm and wáter entered through the ill fitting main door. Still, we had a great weekend.

Great location

We enjoyed being in the Historic District, with only a mile walk to River Street. Having an assigned parking spot was a big plus. Beds are very comfortable; linens were fine. A few suggestions: 1. Alert renters in advance that tv is streaming only. I have never stayed anywhere that didn’t at least have basic cable. 2. Bath/showers need a grab bar. 3. Pillows in living room are shabby and need to be replaced; rug needs to be cleaned. Living room sofa is fine, but the area needs another comfortable chair.

Great Location

Overall, nice accommodations. Learned renting a big car was a problem “after” arriving. Would have been nice to know prior that assigned parking is extremely tight. Apartment was well furnished with every thing we needed. It was very clean, though some of the finishes like base boards were a little tired. Bathrooms were extremely small and the door to the back bedroom bath was very hard to close. The beds were perfect, and the linens were very nice. We had a wonderful time. The location was great, and having off street parking was a plus. The rate was very fare for the unit and location.
