Perfect!
We brought my father in law to Saugatuck for his birthday. The property was very clean. The beds are comfortable. The hot tub was a great amenity. My 17year old caught a bass. We went to the Saugatuck state park which was beautiful and very close. The property is very close to downtown where we shopped and had great meals! Everything was truly perfect!

Kingfisher Gem!
We stayed here as our third trip to Kingfisher Cove and the first in Elisabeth’s cabin. This vacation community is absolutely perfect, and we loved the proximity of this cabin to the pool and the dock. The only thing that wasn’t picture perfect was the comfort of the beds.

Perfect summer trip
My family absolutely loved our stay here and our trip to Saugatuck. We had friends stay in a neighboring cabin which made it even better. Loved the community and how close the location is to downtown, oval beach, etc. Would definitely stay here again!

Commencement weekend
We had a very nice stay in the cabin. Lovely location and located in the neighboring town of where our daughter’s college is located. This was also during the Tulip Time Festival in Holland, so having a place to stay a little removed from the hub of activity was great.

We all had a great time! The property manager (Elisabeth) was great to work with. She gave us very specific directions and instructions on how to get to the property and get in. The place was very beautiful, everything we were hoping for and more.

Amazing cabin and host
We rented a couple of cabins in Kingfisher Cove for our bridal party on our wedding weekend. Our stay couldn't have been better! Elisabeth was super helpful and communicative. The beds were comfy and we loved the fire place and hot tub. The loft was a cozy hang out spot with a nice futon. I would recommend staying in these cabins to anyone. Thank you Elisabeth for helping make our wedding weekend so great and memorable!

Excellent Cozy Cabin
We recently stayed at this cabin over the Thanksgiving break. The cabin is lovely and cozy. Very to easy to check in and check out. The owner went above and beyond to resolve a maintenance issue with hot tub over the holiday break. Also was very responsive when we reached to check for a missing watch which since has been mailed back. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to stay in the Saugtack/Douglas area

Great spot, excellent hosts!
We had a great girls weekend staying at this property near Saugatuck! The cottage was just as pictured in the listing and close to both downtown Saugatuck and Saugatuck state park, the check in process was easy and the host was very attentive - I even left a coat behind and they arranged to ship it back to me! Would definitely stay here again!

Great girls’ getaway!
Some of my close friends and I stayed here while in town for a wedding. We loved it! We all agreed we would def stay here again. There were 4 of us, so we each got our own bed. If couples are going, they could sleep in either of the larger bedrooms, the bunk beds are double beds so you COULD share but I personally would want more room than that if it was myself and another adult. You could easily put 4 kids in there though!! It was very close to the pool and Lake Gashorn. It was too chilly for mosquitos, thank goodness, although the back porch jacuzzi area is screened in!! Yay!! I can imagine the bugs might be a little much in the summer, but fall was perfect! Will try to stay here again!

Location, Location, Location
This property is in a prime location, walking distance from a community swimming pool, dock, ice cream shop and minutes from quaint towns of Saugatuck/Douglas and awesome Oval Beach. The open floor plan, rustic furnishings and private hot tub provided a comfortable and fun place for six adults and one infant. We can't express how much we loved it!

Centrally located so you can access all the sights.
The size of the property was great for the six of us. We used the hot tub, grill, kitchen and fire pit. We were very close to the swimming pool too. The cleanliness of the place needs a bit of attention and there are some small maintenance items that need to be addressed. Most of the houses (if not all) seem to be rentals as there were always new people. That is what happens when we are missing personnel to help work and the owner does not live in the area.

We grew up as kids vacationing in Saugatuck and we love sharing the experience with our kids. Great location and lots to do with fishing, swimming, hot tub, Dune Ride, beach, ice cream shop and quaint town with amazing shops.

Family birthday party/summer vacation getaway.
Family birthday party/summer vacation getaway. we went there to celebrate our daughter‘s fourth birthday as well as my birthday with my parents who flew in from Florida. Everything was amazing… Would’ve liked to spend more days there. Proximity to downtown Saugatuck is really nice and the secluded nature of the entire complex is ideal for families with young children.

The cabin is in an amazing area near the beach, is spacious and beautiful and clean and fully stocked with everything! We were all beyond impressed and loved it so much! I would recommend to everyone & the owner was very friendly and attentive.

Quiet Family Retreat

Perfect Getaway
The house was beautiful and just as advertised with everything we needed. Fireplace and hot tub were nice features and the beds were very comfortable. Close to many area attractions like shopping, breweries and wineries. Would definitely stay here again. In fact, hated to leave! Thanks for a great vacation rental!

St. Patrick's Day Weekend Stay
Some friends and I stayed here St Patrick's Day Weekend (Thursday to Sunday). We enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub each day we were there. Unfortunately it rained each night so wee didn't get to use the outdoor firepit. The kitchen was great (just don't forget your Tupperware or zip lock baggies if you are planning leftovers). Walking distance to 2 gas stations and one pub. It was convenient being less than 10 minutes from the downtown area.

Positives: The cabin is very nice. The fireplace was great. The hot tub was hot. The screened porch was a good size. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of firewood. Negative: There was some mold on the shower rack and on the shower floor in the upstairs bathroom that was pretty obvious. And they didn’t shovel the walkway. The pillows need replacing. They were awful. But overall I’d give it like a 4.7. Not perfect, but a really nice place. I’d recommend to friends.

Great experience
The cabin was just as advertised, very clean, and a very nice space. We enjoyed being able to cook, sit by the fire and the hot tub was great too with a nice view of the woods. There were lots of people at Kingfisher Cove that weekend but it was still remarkably quiet. We discovered a walking path we could have taken directly from the cabin to downtown Saugatauk, which we will do next time. Elisabeth was very responsive to questions. Would stay there again.

Toasty winter retreat
This cabin is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the highway and all the areas around Saugatuck. It was a cozy base for a field trip to see the ice on the lake. The hot tub to warm us afterward was fantastic. It was a nice retreat to get away and have a relaxing weekend with comfy beds, a well stocked kitchen, and a fireplace that really puts out the heat. We loved this cabin for a cozy winter getaway. The fireplace and abundance of firewood kept us warm, the hot tub was a special treat in January, and the cleanliness and aesthetics made for a relaxing weekend. We hope to return again!

Really Great Cabin.
We stayed for just 2 nights. The first night the hot tub didn’t work. However, they were great about getting someone out to get it fixed so we could it enjoy it the second night! The cleanliness mostly came from dust and cobwebs. Overall great time and place/location and would recommend!

This is a beautiful cabin in a quiet lake community close to the main highway and downtown Saugatauk. It was a perfect location for a girls weekend getaway. The cabin was clean, the air conditioner worked well, had a lovely porch to relax on, comfortable beds and spacious. The owner’s were very responsive to our needs when we requested no scents, no scented laundry detergent and no down pillows as well as replacing a TV within hours of being asked.

I would rate this home 3/5 stars. Location is excellent. Use of neighborhood pool is a plus. The rooms are lacking a dresser and are short on extra space, making it near impossible to unpack. Would say cleanliness is a 3/5 but maybe I’m just a clean freak. Owner communication is spectacular. None of us had any cell service the entire week and the wifi was so slow that we couldn’t even stream a movie or tv show, nor could we check emails or send text messages. It was nice to disconnect on one hand, but impossible to look up directions or restaurants or research anything to do in the area. Overall, the stay was adequate, just things to consider when booking.

Wonderful & memorable stay!
This was an amazing cabin for our week stay in Saugatuck! It was a great location as we spent time in Saugatuck, Holland and on Lake Michigan. Elisabeth was wonderful to work with and always replied back to my many email messages very quickly. The cabin was well equipped with what we needed and very spacious. We were thankful that the hot tub was in a screened-in porch as the mosquitoes were bad and we couldn't sit outside.

Kingfisher Cove Cabin
We enjoyed a fun filled week at our clean, comfortable, well equipped cabin. We are a family of 8, 6 adults, a 4 yr old and an 8 no old baby. We had plenty of room and enjoyed all amenities. We went swimming in the pool, fishing in the lake, grilled on the charcoal grill, had campfires, used the hot tub and walked to the ice cream shop. We also shopped in Saugatuck and Douglas. A perfect family vacation!
