"Once we arrived we were blown away by the views of the mountains and nature all around us. It is a beautiful location. We parked the car (more than enough parking space), we walked towards the building where the reception is and met Starri, the owner. "We had an all around great 3 days stay at La Bandita. We received a warm reception and were taken care of by a professional and very friendly team. Food was excellent, both the breakfast buffet (outstanding omelette) and the dinner. Highly recommended! Sara & Bjørn "

"The hotel is very hard to find it. I was driving a car and the GPS does not reconize the route. So is better you go during the day and patient. Was a very nice experience inside the Toscana countryside, I definitly want to go back again. Very easy to go to Lajatico from there and Volterra’s city center."

"Wunderschönes Hotel im alten Kohlebergwerk. Etwas abgeschieden, dafür aber die totale Ruhe. Wir haben super geschlafen! Das Abendessen kann man im Freien geniessen, gute Auswahl und lecker gekocht. Unbedingt jeweils am Morgen reservieren! Einziger Negativpunkt: Das Personal ist beim Frühstück überfordert, da man als Gast nichts selber schöpfen darf. So entstehen Wartezeiten. "

"Wir haben diese Unterkunft für eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp genutzt. Eigentlich zu kurz, da es hier so wunderbar war. Sehr schöne Gartenanlage, toller Pool mit hervorragenden Liegemöglichkeiten. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Tolles Zimmer. Auf jeden Fall auch für mehrere Tage empfehlenswert. Sehr freundliches Personal, alles perfekt."

"Wer einen wirklich erholsamen, entspannenden Urlaub in ruhiger, traumhafter Umgebung sucht, ist hier genau richtig und wird nicht enttäuscht. Das liebevoll eingerichtete und mit dem wichtigsten ausgestattete, typische toskanische kleine Ferienhaus incl. großem beheizten Pool findet man, umgeben von Weinstöcken und Olivenhainen, nachdem man eine insgesamt ca. 5 Km lange asphaltierte- danach Schotterstrecke fährt, abseits gelegen in den Bergen. Und spätestens dabei fängt das "Abenteuer" Urlaub an....

Il proprietario Sig. Antonello molto molto gentile e disponibile fiero giustamente della sua struttura consiglia posti dove cenare e luoghi dove fare del turismo a corto raggio . Consigliato anche per bikers xchè ha un bel parcheggio interno lontano dalla strada anche se poco trafficata . "
