"Room was comfortable. However, I had the misfortune of staying in room 204 - directly across the hall from both the pool and the gym. The cleaning staff was cleaning both amenities from 11pm-12:30 am each night, keeping me awake. Also being directly across from the pool was incredibly humid in the room and the hallway. The room also did not have additional security of a privacy or night latch. Being across from the gym & pool with lots of traffic, that would have provided more peace of mind....

"The only thing going for this property is the location close to the University hospital. The door was locked when we arrived. I phoned and a 12 year old let us in. His information on my updated booking was not up to date, even though I had phoned a week prior to confirm with the owner my booking changes. "Filthy sheets, clearly not laundered, sink and shower also disgustingly dirty. Checked out immediately (did not stay the night), staff told us we could get a refund through Expedia but 5 days later they have still not responded to Expedia’s emails and phone calls, so we are out CAD 144. DO NOT STAY HERE, AVOID!"

"Standing at the desk I could smell cigarette smoke and had a headache before I had finished checking in. The hall we had to walk through to get to our non-smoking room was very strong with smoke. When we got into our room, it smelled nice, but after being in it for a while, cigarette smoke was wafting in. The fridge, microwave and sheets were clean, but the walls were smeared with dirt.
