"We had a wonderful weekend at Ripley Retreat! The cabin is adorable - updated, clean, comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. The view of the lake is beautiful especially at sunset with the fall foliage. Our dogs had the best time playing in the crystal clear water and on the sandy beach. Paul was great to rent from - friendly and quick communication. We hope to be back soon! Thank you! "

"The cabin was very clean. My friend really enjoyed the coffee bar and was impressed with all the items that were available. Temperature in the cabin was great outside seating area was scenic and comfortable. Really enjoyed. The fire pit parking was convenient. Location was very convenient for exploring the town."

"This was an amazing experience. The property is phenomenal. We were able to relax, enjoy each other's company. The fishing wasn't great but that didn't matter just being out on the water was amazing. We will definitely be booking again and are already planning our next stay. "The cabin was cute and very clean. Everything you would need. It was great to sit out on the patio and have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. We also enjoyed being able to sit by the fire. We would definitely stay there again! "

"We loved our stay. The condo was clean and included everything we needed. There were a couple things that took away from our experience. The hallway window sills had hundreds of dead flies and the plants were dead or nearly dead. On the last day the elevator ceased to work. I am guessing that these are more of a condo association oversight."

"Great property, easy to find and centrally located to Hayward. Downtown is less than a mile, maybe a 10 minute walk. Property was clean and pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Only suggestions are somewhere to throw dog poop bags outside, maybe provide poop bags (although we always have some), and finally, maybe put some non-slip in the showers. I highly recommend the property, if it wasn't so hot we would have had a fire outside. "

"Very clean, well appointed, plenty of soaps and bathroom products if you've forgotten anything, coffe and sugar, salt and pepper, updated kitchen! Beautiful quiet area with the lake across the street. I enjoyed watching the Bald Eagles and listening to the loons. (First weekend of October) Host was very helpful and responsive."

"Really great little cabin in northern WI! Our group consisted of 2 adults and one 5 year old child and we fit very comfortably in this space. The private campfire pit was lovely, and it was very convenient to be so close to the water. We did lots of paddle boarding! Of note, this cabin has a bit of a remote feel because of the nature trees on the property and also due to how the property is set up, but it is right next to town so there is quite a bit of traffic noise during the week days....

"Information was exactly as listed for the cabin Location excellent, you can walk anywhere in town of Hayward. Cabins were formerly part of a little German built resort, so kind of close together, however area was very inviting and yes on the lake front with access to dock and canoe launch. "
