"Upon checking in, my partner started to have a bad reaction to all of the fresh exposed wood in the house. Neither of us were aware she had this sensitivity. It did not affect me at all. Amanda came to the rescue and was able to transfer us to another property right on the ocean in the heart of Bar Harbor, essentially saving our vacation. I will just say that the new property was so nice, it was a step down when we finally returned home after the vacation. Amanda rocks!!!"

"Great location. Away from the down town bustle, but close enough to enjoy the best of both worlds. Clean cabin, great amenities. "

"This is a charming, rustic property in a lovely setting and extremely quiet and peaceful! Our host Carol is wonderful, very thoughtful and helpful a truly lovely person! She shares great recommendations for hiking, fun places to get almost any kind of food you may be craving. This is not a fancy cottage, it's absolutely perfect for relaxing and is a perfect location for hiking and exploring. The stairs are very steep and the old fashioned claw foot tub with shower needs to be navigated...

"Nice place to relax and unwind with family and friends. The place is equipped with state of the art appliances including WiFi. I will surely recommend to friends and families."

"Property was well maintained and check out, with no requirements, was amazing. We had yurt 8 which while the most convenient is right by the road. Luckily it’s not too busy but would have preferred to not hear cars driving by. Common space with a camp fire and games was great. A little far for groceries but otherwise a pretty central location for Bar Harbor and Acadia. "

"This efficient little space has everything a traveler needs in a quiet, beautiful setting. It's remote, but not far from Blue Hill and well within reach of Acadian National Park. It would make a great venue for an artist's retreat. "

"We had a fantastic time at this property. The home was spacious, clean, and exactly as described. The open layout made it perfect for relaxing and spending time together. The owners were incredibly responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend—would definitely stay here again!"

"The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden...

"Absolutely love this place; very clean and exactly what everyone wrote on the reviews! Loved the beach loved the store beneath us with the pizza and subs. All the amenities in this VRBO were the best I've ever ever seen. Definetly will come back and stay here if we're in the area again thank you so much for everything, including the nice cooler bag that we took everywhere"

"The house is completely secluded, quite a distance from the road but very close to a gas station and a store, which made it an ideal location for us.The house is very well maintained with all amenities and well stocked. The owner was very responsive and helpful. She would reply within 5 minutes of a message.We had a great stay and would definitely recommend."
