Nice house, quiet area

Great little property. Everything was as advertised, except we could not get access to pool area. Listing said access until 10pm, but signs around the pool said it closes at 6pm.

Beautiful 2Bedroom/2 Bathroom Villa

What a great place to stay & great host to work with!

Our family had a really terrific stay at this property. The location was convenient and we found the house was stocked with most everything we would need to days at the beach. Owner/management was great to deal with, even providing some local restaurant recommendations. When we had some trouble with the icemaker in the freezer, the owner was super-responsive to get someone on-site to fix it, and even bring us bags of ice. We would stay here again and recommend to others.

Perfect time in April

We had a wonderful week. We were surprised by the advanced age of the house. But it's still very welcoming. Some minor work would make it much more welcoming, such as redoing the joints in the bathrooms. It's unpleasant to look at, but doesn't detract from feeling good.

Beach Trip

This was a very nice villa! The community was also very nice and clean. The owner was very responsive regarding a minor issue with the cable. We enjoyed our visit!

Beware of listing it is not where described. Beware of owner she takes no ownership over errors on VRBO and Expedia. We stayed here because it is listed as downtown and had good reviews. Reading further reviews we see others have pointed out the location errors which the owner stated she wasn’t ever informed of. The owner blames vrbo, Expedia and myself. The address she lists is a smash up of 2 different addresses. I had to request true address a day before leaving because we heard nothing up to that point. We stayed at the condo because I had no trust in getting a refund from this crook. It is located next to a dead mall and a 50 mph road. There are no shops or restaurants nearby. This posting will result with another inappropriate rant from the owner without doubt. She will be reported to authorities. Beware of this place!!!

Great place

This place was great! It was steps from the pool and tennis courts and the complex was in a good location. The pack and play and other baby items were a huge help. Bea was responsive and easy to work with.

We loved this condo, would rent here again!

This rental was absolutely perfect for my husband and I for our 28 day stay. I wanted something that felt like a home away from home and this fit the bill. The floor plan is so nice and open, it feels more homey than other rentals of similar size. The master bedroom is very spacious with a giant walk in closet. So nice that the owner gives the renter use of this entire closet. We brought quite a bit of stuff including our two cats and had no problem feeling cramped. We loved the really nice skylight in the main hallway that brightens the place up so well. Great touch. Despite sharing a wall with the neighboring condo, I did not hear one peep through that wall. I would've thought no one was over there if I hadn't met the renters myself. It's very soundproof and the neighborhood is quiet as well. Very close proximity to the community pool, you can actually see it from the lanai. There's also a little deck attached to the pool area overlooking a peaceful little pond with a variety of birds. One pet peeve of mine is low water pressure, and that was definitely not a problem here. In the kitchen and the showers, the water pressure was perfect and the faucets are obviously newer. Never had a problem getting water as hot as I wanted it both in the kitchen and the bathrooms. We also loved the location. We enjoyed nightly after dinner walks doing the 1/2 mile loop around the community which is private and felt very safe. It is close to anything and everything you would need like grocery, pharmacy, retailers, restaurants. Only a few miles from the bridge to Siesta Key and a short 15-20 minutes to downtown Sarasota and the airport when traffic was light. The owner was an excellent communicator when we had any questions or needed anything. She really went above and beyond to help us enjoy our vacation.

Amazing getaway!

This is an terrific property with and even more wonderful and gracious host. Everything in the home, community and neighborhood was exactly as described. Bea went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and all of our needs were met. She has thought of everything and stocked the villa with every pool/beach toy that a family might need. Top quality and we are already planning our next stay there.

Great time!

This rental was awesome! The only issue we had, the neighbor the driveway is shared with. When we got there, they were 4 cars parked in the left center of the driveway making it impossible to get to the house. At the top of the driveway there is a sharp bend to get to the garage and they had a bigger truck parked on the bend in the driveway. It was impossible to get around it. Basically it was extremely difficult to get in and out of the place. We loved the setting and everything else about the home, especially sitting out back at night enjoying the environment.

Great villa

Thank you Bea for sharing your beautiful villa with us for 10 days. We arrived early and you were nice enough to let us unload our suitcases while you completed cleaning. We had an issue with the hot water and you had a plumber over to fix it within hours. Great service. Your villa is beautiful and the area/community is great. Cannot recommend enough. You won't be disappointed!

Close to Siesta Key

Very nice and comfortable Villa. It was close to beaches, restaurants, and shopping. It had everything we needed for day's spent on the beach. Chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and cooler. The beds were comfortable. We spent each morning eating breakfast in the lanai. We enjoyed listening to and watching all the different birds. The pool and the hot tub were a bonus after long days on the beach. The host was quick to respond to any questions I had before our trip. We enjoyed our stay!

Our stay was great! Beya was very helpful with a few minor issues that came up. Pool and hot tub on the property were very nice. Safe area as well. Extra shoutout to Beya for letting us ship our golf clubs to her house and then delivering them to the villa! We were very pleased with our stay overall!

Needs serious maintenance

The exterior is beautiful, the grounds are beautiful, the pool is beautiful! The inside is in need of serious maintenance! 1.Lamps (2) missing finial so the shades were loose. One lamp in LR wouldn't turn on. 2. garage door opener worked sporadically. It would go up then wouldn't go down again until later. I don't know how much later because we couldn't wait long enough so we would leave and by time we got home it would work again. 3. controller for fan in bedroom didn't work until I bought a new battery and bulb 4. 3 out of 4 of the chairs on the lanai had broken seats 5. ceiling in master bath has water damage from roof so the drywall is cracked and swollen on the ceiling. 6. blinds were missing rods to open/close them. 7. Street light out our bedroom windows was blinking on and off our entire stay creating a flashing light on the bedroom side of condo . Neighbor called to have it fixed yet it took over 10 days and we were gone. We had to cover the windows to sleep. I didn't call the manager about any issues. Her number is clearly visible. She has also posted in the kitchen a garage door company to call which I didn't call, just lived with the problems. The manager was prompt answering my questions by email before we arrived. No complaints there. Just a worn out condo with need for updating. That is why I gave it a low rating.......

Home in a quiet neighborhood

We loved this property! The condo is large and spacious. It's part of an established community south of Sarasota near the Palmer Ranch development, so it's surrounded by gated communities and shopping developments. The grounds are beautifully kept, with lots of birds and open grassy areas, a nice pool area, a putting green, and a common grilling area. Note no units are allowed to have private grills. The house was very well appointed--more than you could possibly need in the kitchen, tons of beach towels, as well as beach chairs and umbrellas. If you want a true "beach house," this isn't it; this is a home in a suburban community that's close enough to do everything you want to do in Sarasota but without the crowded bustle of a place on Siesta or Lido key. It's a short drive to the Ringling, St. Armand's, and Siesta beach, a bit shorter to Turtle beach. Also, highly recommend bringing bikes. The Legacy Trail is close to the property, and we cycled down to the less-crowded beach in Nakomis. The property manager is very responsive, so be sure to contact her before check-in. She owns multiple units in the same development, and the VRBO map is not correct. This unit is 3750 Spanish Pines Court--make sure you Google it before you sign up so you know where it is.
