"We knew that the hotel was a historic building, but quite honestly everything inside was more than historic and just old and completely dated.
To start with the walls are pretty thin, there's no real place to put your luggage & the bathroom definitely needs an upgrade.
In our case, the TV and the room phone ( looked like from the 1950s ) did not work and we were given a replacement remote which also did not work.
Although the location is very conveniant , it may be worth spending a bit more...

"Fijn hotel. Schoon. Aardige mensen bij de receptie en achter de bar. Lekker huis gemaakte salade voor lunch hapje Alleen op het balkon misten we een paar stoelen. Locatie is goed, dicht bij het strand. Wij hadden een kamer met uitzicht op het strand. Helaas roken we wel de afvoer van de keuken. Niet storend."
