Adult family get away - just average accommodations

The home was adequate but could have been way better. No washer and dryer is a big miss for a property of this size. Also, we had so much trouble with the air flow of the home. A/C doesnā€™t work in all the rooms and the thermostat remote controllers all had dead batteries, as well as the TV remotes. It also needed a deep clean, as there were cob webs above the master bed and the windows were not clean. The kitchen was recently updated, but the counters and sink were both dirty. The hot water was also a problem on day 1, but once my husband turned the lines off and back on, the flow was better (even though the hot and cold are backwards - which the signs show).

Convenient

Met our basic needs but lacked in some areas. The living room furniture was not very comfortable and the lack of access to a washer and dryer made the limited number of towels less than what we have experienced in other properties. Lack of dressers in the bedrooms and lack of shelving isnā€™t the showers was a negative but not overly so.

A Week Stay in Santa Rosa

Overall, our stay at this home was good. The location was great: It was only ten minutes from Montgomery Village, fifteen minutes from downtown Santa Rosa, and thirty minutes from St. Helena. A Safeway was down the road, so grocery shopping was easy. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy. The property was clearly updated at some point and is beautifully done. The kitchen is wonderful and a great feature of the house. However, fixing the showers to improve drainage would be beneficial. The house was fairly clean, but a deep clean, specifically of the floors, would be advised. Lastly, the smoke detector on the second floor was missing, and the wires were hanging out of the wall. That should be fixed expeditiously.

Exactly what we needed and perfect location

Simple property in a very quiet neighborhood. It is nothing fancy, but the price compared to everything else I could find for the same date. We needed three rooms with at least a double or larger for a long weekend stay. This fit the bill. The only odd thing to note is that some of the water valves are backwards. It didn't really impact our stay however. We would stay hear again.

House was simple but adequate. Very clean upon arrival. The hot tub was a nice feature. Appreciated being able to have an early check-in since we were in town for a wedding that we needed to get ready for. Quiet neighborhood setting. Only downside is that the listing says 3 bedrooms in one location and 4 bedrooms in another. We were counting on 4 bedrooms to accommodate our group.

Nice House to stay

This was a very nice house and family space. There is a nice backyard and hot tub, which we unfortunately did not get to use due to our timing. The family space is open and bright. The neighborhood is quiet. The only thing that would improve things is to have access to the washer dryer as staying several days with a family would make it convenient. Definitely worth staying.

It works

The house works. The hot tub is nice after a long day of wine tasting. The full kitchen complete with spices and oils, a coffee maker and a Kuerig was a nice touch. The house was pretty pieced together - the light switches were in awkward spots, the floor flexed when you walked on it, the showers did not drain wellā€¦there was not a fan in the smaller upstairs bathroom. The upstairs A/C was confusing and we had to call to have someone walk us through it. There were not enough towels. The pull-out couch was filthyā€¦and uncomfortable. Not conducive to sleeping. If youā€™re visiting Napa Valley, the most direct drive is a very narrow, windy, treacherous road.

Property was very clean , nicely decorated . Couple of doors to bathrooms were difficult to close without straining , making noise . Not enough wine glasses , 2 were already cracked upon arrival . Otherwise kitchen was well stocked . BBQ did not heat enough to cook with . Outdoor space was comfortable , outdoor lighting added a very nice environment . We had questions prior to arrival and host was very responsive . Property located in very quiet , nice neighborhood.

Perfect Location

Staying at this property in Santa Rosa put us in a great location to reach many activites all within about 45 minutes. The outdoor area was a highlight. All the basics were provided. We needed more comfortable seating in the living room for all 6 of us to relax together.

Beautiful Home in Lovely Neighborhood

What a perfect place to spend a wine trip! Our group of five (two couples and one single) were very comfortable staying at this house. It was clean, spacious, and stocked with every amenity we could hope to ask for. My only complaint was that the BBQ grill didnā€™t get quite as hot as we needed to cook our meals, but our concern was addressed immediately by our hosts. I would not hesitate to stay here again! Thank you!

Spent three days wine tasting with family. The house and hot tub were fantastic. Everyone loved the accommodations. The hosts were very responsive to any needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking again in the future.

Great place to stay for our adult family and a dog. Clean, Pottery Barn style decor. We had trouble getting upstairs air conditioner turned on when we arrived, and they talked us through it in a very timely manner. Listen to hot-cold water reversal sign for master shower! Guest shower operated normally.

Friends trip to Napa Valley

This is an annual event and we love to stay in a house together, cook our meals and spend quality time. This house was perfect for that, especially the amazing outdoor space. And, there was plenty of seating inside as well. Plus, I was able to bring my 9 pound Yorky poo which made the stay complete. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great for families

Clean and cozy home, equipped for kids! I didnā€™t realize they had a crib and high chair, so I had rented those through another company but they did have both available to use. They also had kids plates, cups and silverware- helpful for our toddlers! Jacuzzi was hot and ready to use with towels. Convenient to store, restaurants, and wineries. Plenty of space to sleep and multiple bathrooms. Easy check in and check out. Will definitely stay again!
