Great location

Our stay was fine. The condo could use a GOOD detail clean and some maintenance. But overall it was a pleasant stay. We really enjoyed the location and being able to walk right out to the beach!

Great location

The location is fabulous. Literally just feet from the beach and no steps to climb. Unfortunately, the property needs a thorough and deep cleaning, which is it does not appear to have had in quite some time. The chair and couch in the living room had multiple stains. The mattress in the bedroom was pretty much shot. It definitely needs to be replaced.. I do not mind Furniture or decor that is dated, as long as it is clean.

Spring Break 30A

Great location right on the beach. Plenty of space for our family of 4 having the kids sleep in the hallway bunks, and having the two bathrooms was key. Only thing we would have liked is for a nicer patio set outside, there were 3 plastic andirondak chairs and one plastic chaise lounge, something a little nicer would have given the extra star.

Great place and location, but disappointing kitchen

First and foremost, this place is in a great location! It’s on the ground level, and the walkout patio looks across the sea grass and a sand dune at the beach and ocean, which are not many steps away. And it’s within easy bicycling distance from some good restaurants. It could use a few updates, but we didn’t expect (and weren’t looking for) the Ritz. And there were some minor maintenance issues, but I emailed the management company and they were taken care of in a few hours (pretty impressive). The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that the kitchen is pretty lacking. If you’re going to dine out every meal, then it’s not a problem. But if you plan to cook some … there are 2 small flimsy skillets with the non-stick surface partially scratched off, the only baking dish is the size of a small loaf of bread (too small for 2 pieces of fish), dull knives, no pot holders (burned my fingers using dish towels instead), no crock pot, no disposal, incomplete set of measuring spoons/cups, etc., and some of the pans (and some glasses) appeared to have been put away without being washed. Fortunately, we made friends with the couple in unit #104 above this one, and their kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed (in mostly new condition). Again, the kitchen aside, we really liked this unit and it’s location.

Fantastic place

We got there early, they allowed us to check in a few hours before our scheduled time. Location is ideal, close to shops and restaurants. Beach is super close. The unit was clean and everything was in working condition.

30th Anniversary

We loved the property. Especially the proximity to the beach & wash off area. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Also enjoyed the fact that there were not a lot of people crowding the beach. The property was clean & just as described. The bed was not very comfortable but we dealt with that. A/C worked well which is important in August. We will definitely stay there again and would recommend it.

Perfect Location for our Family

This is a great end unit condo with easy access to the beach! My family was traveling with our two children, ages 8 and 10. The bunk bed set up was perfect for the kids, although one of my kids ended up sleeping on the pull out couch just to avoid climbing the ladder. Although most kids would probably like the top bunk, mine was just more comfortable with the couch. All of the amenities in the condo were as advertised, and everything was clean and in good condition. All the furniture was in good condition. Previous reviews mentioned broken deck furniture, but this had all been replaced and was in great condition. Previous reviews also mentioned the top bunk had no railing, but this had been fixed as well and there was a railing on the top bunk to prevent falls. We didn't do any cooking in the unit, but it seemed like everything one would need for basic family meals was available. It was really great to have the bottom corner unit, which provided great access to the beach. The unit is also directly beside the hose/shower, so when you come off the beach getting cleaned up from the sand is super easy and convenient. The only downside I can even think of is the parking situation, but this is typical of the entire area. There is only one dedicated parking space, so if you have two vehicles like we did, you might need to get creative. Luckily we had friends in a condo a couple buildings down with an extra space, so for us it ended up not being an issue.

Great location BUT unit in great need of repair

The location is perfect… right on the beach and a corner unit. However, the unit was not clean upon arrival. There was sand throughout the unit and a foul smell. On the last day, we discovered the possible source of the smell… mold! Lots of areas in the unit in great need of repair/ replacement. On a positive note, the management did quickly respond to our request for the unit to be cleaned when we first arrived.

Great condo that needs just a couple cheap/easy improvements

My wife and two boys (8 and 11) stayed at the property in mid-October 2022, and we had a great stay. The main reason we picked the condo was the proximity to the beach in an uncrowded area of the coast (no giant condo buildings close by). The condo was very nice and had everything we needed, and the location on the beach couldn't have been better. There are, however, a couple improvements needed. First, the top bunk bed has no rail, and a kid could easily roll out onto the tile floor 6 feet below. Such a fall could seriously injure or possibly kill a child. It's cheap and easy to build a rail from 2x4s, and this should be done ASAP before someone gets hurt. We had planned to use the bunk beds but decided to just put the two boys on the sofa bed instead. My only other criticisms are that the TVs could use an upgrade (drop the cable and just get some big/cheap Roku TVs), the couch cushions could use a good cleaning, a foam mattress for the master bedroom would be great, and it would be nice to have better patio furniture (at least get rid of the junky chaises and replace the one broken chair). Overall, the condo was great and we would definitely return to this property if at least the bunk bed is fixed.

Best location on 30A but condo needs help

Condo is in desperate need of an upgrade. It had inadequate kitchen supplies, and overall everything was very old and in need of repair. We have stayed at MANY properties at Eastern Shores, and this one was a real let down..

RIGHT ON THE SAND!

We had a very nice long weekend at this property. We were a bit surprised when we got there and saw a large humidifier on with a bucket full of water. Unit could have used updating and more kitchen supplies but location was great and we loved being right in on the beach. Parking was rough - if you drive a large vehicle or truck there’s a good chance you’ll have trouble parking. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay.

Beach Babes

Spent a perfect week on the beach with my husband, two toddlers, and newborn baby. The condo is so close to the access point and made the whole week super easy with all three kids and our beach gear. We loved the neighborhood too for walking/running. We look forward to returning!

Eastern Shores @ Seagrove Beach

This property is great. The condo was clean, had a full kitchen, and the location was amazing. Only 20 steps from the back porch and you are on the beach. The downsides of the property are: only 1 parking spot available; the television/cable service is outdated; and the tile floor throughout has 'beach residue' that leaves your feet dirty after walking barefoot on it. That being said, NONE of the downsides make a dent in the overall awesomeness of this condo and location. We will definitely rent this property again if we come back to this area of Florida.

Spring Escape

The location was perfect- steps from the beach, right out the back door. The size of the property was perfect for the two of us. It did smell fishy when we entered, the fans left on did not take that away, but a can of lysol spray and opening the door did. We were glad we brought our own lawn chairs, the ones on the property were not usuable. We loved the beautiful beach, we felt safe and secluded. The other visitors were friendly.
