No meu caso, que estava viajando pela Toscana e querendo conhecer osterias (restaurantes) e um pouco as cidades locais, não aproveitei tanto a estrutura do hotel. San Miniato fica a 8km do hotel e pode ir tanto de dia como a noite. "

"The hotel is very hard to find it. I was driving a car and the GPS does not reconize the route. So is better you go during the day and patient. Was a very nice experience inside the Toscana countryside, I definitly want to go back again. Very easy to go to Lajatico from there and Volterra’s city center."

"A beautiful, relaxing property with incredibly kind and professional staff. Villa Lena has a character of its own that feels truly personal. We loved the design of the rooms and the touches of art throughout. The food was delicious and you could tell care was taken with its making. And again all of the staff was incredibly friendly and it was easy to get help when needed. We traveled here with two children and greatly appreciated all the support from the staff. Highly recommend Villa Lena."

"Wunderschönes Hotel im alten Kohlebergwerk. Etwas abgeschieden, dafür aber die totale Ruhe. Wir haben super geschlafen! Das Abendessen kann man im Freien geniessen, gute Auswahl und lecker gekocht. Unbedingt jeweils am Morgen reservieren! Einziger Negativpunkt: Das Personal ist beim Frühstück überfordert, da man als Gast nichts selber schöpfen darf. So entstehen Wartezeiten. "

"We stayed here for 5 nights. The farmhouse and property were beautiful and exactly as described. The beds were very comfortable, the house was spacious, there was a beautiful pool on the property. We were served a wonderful breakfast every morning. The location is close to San Gimignano but also a good location to visit Siena, Florence and Volterra. The scenery in the area is stunning. The best part was meeting our gracious and kind host Carla. We traveled many locations in Italy and Greece over...
