Located in the foothills close to Museum Hill in a safe gated community yet only minutes to the plaza, this peaceful Eastside retreat is nestled privately in the Piñon Juniper Pygmy Forest.*

Enjoy two glorious outdoor spaces: A spacious deck surrounded by the Sangre de Cristo and Jemez mountains provides a gracious space for evening, moonlit entertaining or a shaded mid-day barbeque. For your private times, a more intimate patio off the master bedroom opens up to a luscious garden with a waterfall and pond for morning sunrise and coffee. At night, view the stars and the moon rise over Sun Mountain from the hot tub situated in the beautiful gardens just steps away from the master bedroom.

Cloudstone Muse offers two relaxing options for outdoor dining for your take-out dining experience: a beautiful deck with a mesquite dining table offers sunset mountain views, or the colorful patio flower garden with the trickling sounds of a waterfall.

Inside, the soaring high ceilings of the large open living space house a massive Kiva and a well-equipped, gourmet kitchen. A free standing island is ideal for food preparation – or for just gathering around over lunch or coffee or homemade margarita’s. Offering privacy and physical distance, each bedroom is located at opposite ends of the living space.

Cynthia was readily available, gracious and friendly. The home was amazing! All the windows made you feel like you were living outdoors. The hot tub was wonderful and so were the sunsets off the deck! The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. We will definitely come back here!!

Beautiful and peaceful Santa Fe getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, immaculate and well-equipped house. The landscaping design and outdoor spaces are also beautiful and fit in well with the breathtaking views of the foothills. The property was even more impressive in person than shown in the photos. Quiet location, close to the Plaza, Museum Hill and Canyon Road. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. Cynthia was very helpful and attentive. We will definitely keep this property in mind for future visits to Santa Fe.

Peaceful retreat great for couples getaway!

This cozy house provides everything for a relaxing stay in Santa Fe. We traveled with another couple, no kids. There are lots of amenities provided including a well stocked kitchen, extra blankets and towels, toiletries, etc. We really enjoyed the outdoor areas for morning coffee, grilling steaks and sipping wine while watching the sunset!Great location with a 10 minute easy drive to town.

Santa Fe charm

We had an exceptional stay at Cynthia’s house. The place is beautiful- my husband and I agreed this was easily the best decorated and most charming house we’ve ever rented. It is located in a beautiful, safe neighborhood and surrounded by nature and hills. Cynthia is super sweet and an extremely attentive host who is available at a moments notice should you need anything. If you are looking for a place that is super clean, well appointed, and the epitome of Santa Fe charm, then look no further, this is the place!

Lovely stay in the foothills

Feels quiet and remote in the beautiful foothills of Santa Fe, but you are 10 minutes from every convenience. Host is helpful and responsive. We had a lovely two weeks there with our kiddos - hot tub was wildly successful with the little ones.

A Perfect Vacation

My sister, Mom and I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely, relaxing home. The pictures and description are accurate. We enjoyed the views of the mountains, especially during sunsets. The house is in close proximity to downtown Santa Fe and many popular destinations and landmarks, making it easy to get out for day trips. Cynthia was a generous host: met us at the property to acquaint us with the house, recommended restaurants and excursions, and had decorated the house for the holidays, which was a lovely and unexpected touch. A serene retreat

This was a perfect house in every respect for our needs. Truly a peaceful retreat in the mountains, the house is immaculate in decor, cleanliness and amenities. Located perfectly away from the bustle yet very close to everything. Very caring owner is keeping the house as if living there by herself.

Very Nice Home in Santa Fe

We really enjoyed staying at this home for our trip to Santa Fe. The host was great to work with and the furnishings were fantastic. The location is close to everything but far enough out of the city to be quiet and relaxing. Great place and highly recommended.

This home exceeded my expectations. We've stayed in several rentals that have left us wanting for kitchen supplies and bathroom products but this home has everything! It was clean and very comfortable. We felt right at home!

Beautiful home convenient to downtown Santa Fe

This home is every bit as gorgeous and well appointed, both inside and outside, as it appears from the photos and description. There is attention to detail and comfort, and an eye for design in every aspect of the indoor and outdoor spaces. Cynthia is a friendly and helpful host. I loved the multiple outdoor spaces, each with its own appeal—for breakfast with a view or relaxing after a busy day. The Santa Fe Plaza is a short drive away. It was a perfect place for me to stay while attending a nearby, multi-day family event. I was there by myself but it would have been very comfortable for up to two couples as well. I would definitely stay there again on a future visit to Santa Fe. Highly recommended!

Perfect for 2 Couples

What a wonderful stay! This property is beautiful, private, clean, and very comfortable. My wife and I and our daughter and her husband just finished a 10-day stay to explore Santa Fe and the surrounding area. This property is as-advertised and deserves it's "5/5 Exceptional" review rating. The two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, are on opposite sides of the house providing internal privacy for two couples. The open area between the bedrooms includes a kitchen with island, a dining area, and a living area. All are beautifully furnished with no clutter and provide great spaces for gathering. Our early April stay was a bit cold for us to experience the lovely patio/garden area, but we were able to enjoy several warm sunny mornings on the deck before heading out to explore Santa Fe. The kitchen appliances (including dishwasher), the washer and dryer, and the TV and WiFi all worked fine, which were essential to us for a longer stay. Communication with Cynthia was great. We particularly liked our face-to-face meeting upon arrival and Cynthia's recommendations for best places to eat, where to buy groceries, best hiking trails, and other attractions suited to our interests. It's really good to get recommendations from a knowledgeable local! Cynthia's place is a no-brainer for our next visit to Santa Fe.

Perfect Place

The perfect way to see Santa Fe, this quaint rustic cottage is set in the majestic foothills just outside Santa Fe. The town and major highways are within minutes, very convent. A wonderful place and setting to spend quality time with family or friend. Cynthia the owner is very talent in what she has accomplish from the convince of soaking in the spa to the dinners by the fire place, or just sitting on the balcony enjoy this unique mountain paradise we throughly enjoyed our time in Santa Fe and this cottage was to main reason. We will be back.
