Casa Lita – Colorful Historic Home in the Railyard

Welcome to Casa Lita — named after the Spanish word for “grandmother” (Abuelita). We wanted every guest to feel like they’re staying at a beloved family home that’s been lived in and loved for generations.

This historic house was designed by two longtime Santa Fe best friends who’ve been part of the local art scene for over 20 years. You’ll see their creative touch in the bright colors, comfortable furniture, and little details that make the house feel personal and welcoming. With its original 100-year-old wood floors and lived-in charm, Casa Lita is a place where you can truly relax.

We designed this home with families in mind! You’ll find cozy reading nooks, books, toys, games, and plenty of comfortable spaces for kids to play and unwind! It comfortably sleeps larger groups while still feeling like a real house rather than a showroom.
