"The house was spotless and a good location to get on highway. It was near the airport and could hear planes landing and taking off but did not hear planes after 11 p m. The owner lives in lower level and was very nice but did not speak much English and I do not speak Portuguese so checking in was a little complicated. I liked the location it was not as busy as Funchal and overlooked the mountains. The island is spectacular and would definitely recommend a stay on this island. "

"Pros: A Villa Angela é uma casa fantástica, com tudo o que se deseja para umas férias em família ou em grupo. A casa é exatamente como as fotografias, nova, com todos utensílios e mobiliário novos e o proprietário é super disponível e prestável. Tem uma vista fantástica sobre a baía do Funchal e localiza-se muito perto da Nossa Senhora do Monte.
