"Beautiful, comfortable, clean and well stocked home with an amazing huge pool. Plenty of outdoor seating and dining options. The owners live next door and were gracious and helpful hosts. Air conditioning is in the 3 upstairs bedrooms and the main living room area downstairs. Bocce set and a grassy area to play. Matraia ist ein beschaulicher Ort und gleichzeitig gut für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen. Das Haus und der Garten sind liebevoll gestaltet und sehr großzügig. "The Toscana village is great - so relaxing. The long stay owners are very friendly and helpful, as are the staff. The onsite bar/restaurant is good, as is the pool. There is a local town in easy walking distance with many old buildings, nice bars, and places to eat. On Saturdays there is a food market, so you can stock up on salads, fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses, etc. We can't wait to go back."

"Monica was the best, to start we wanted her to make us supper the 1st night but I got back to her late and she had already made plans to attend an olive oil festival at a hamlet a few miles from her Villa. She invited us to attend with her and it was the best way to start out our visit, when you watch tv and see Italy with everyone from the town eating together, it was exactly like that an 8 course meal with all the wine you could drink it was amazing. She was available for everything we needed...
