"We went to New Vinyard to view the total eclipse. Chip and Kathy, our hosts were wonderful and warm. The house was perfect for the four of us. We rode around to other towns in the area, up the mountain, and across a famed wire bridge that bounces when you put on the brakes. Our nephew and three others came up to sit outside with us to view the eclipse. We all had an amazing time. The little village store was great for pizza and incidentals. By being in New Vinyard, we avoided the huge traffic...

"This is the second time at this property. This time we enjoyed kayaking on the pristine pond, and evenings around the fire pit. The house layout was perfect for the 8 of us and everything you could ever need was provided, all we had to bring was the food. The home is beautifully decorated and comfortable."

"We had a great stay at this home. It was easy to find and property was just as described in the listing. It was convenient to get to Sugarloaf and had space for parking. One note for anyone with small children - the stairs are open to the lower level on one side, with a handrail on the opposite side. This was not an issue for us but may have been challenging with a mobile toddler or small kid. Thanks so much for a great stay! Hoping we can make a return trip in the future."

"My sister and I stayed here with my two pups for the weekend and caught a night show at Sugarloaf, which was a short 35 minute drive. This property was peaceful, quiet, clean and cozy. We had a relaxing Saturday of cooking, letting the pups play in the little creek and relaxing in the super cozy living room. We definitely want to go back for a weekend with our kids. It was a perfect weekend and an amazing property!"

"The property was a lovely space! We needed a one night stay in the Farmington area, and this place was perfect. The home was welcoming and clean, and the owner provided just about everything you need (towels, coffee maker, bedding, wine glasses, etc). We awoke in the morning to 9 deer outside in the field! Thank you so much for the quiet and relaxing stay!"

"Had a lively weekend with our son and his girlfriend. The kids rode all weekend. The multi-story layout afforded everyone plenty of space. I would just note that the main living space is up one flight of stairs, so if stairs are an issue, this is not the property for you. For us, it actually added to the flexibility of the property. We loved it."
