The Space:
Surfside 2 is a modern two storey town house, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, centrally located in Sandy Point. It is one of the closest properties to the town centre with shops, main beach access, surf lifesaving club, community centre and sporting facilities all only minutes away.

The open plan living area downstairs includes a modern, fully-equipped kitchen with stone benchtops, European appliances including dishwasher, dining table and lounge area. The lounge area has modern new furniture, a large TV, DVD, Bluetooth sound system, games console and wood fire. Bi-fold doors from the living room open out to a shaded front deck. There is also a secluded, fully enclosed courtyard and large shaded deck at the rear. Both areas are provided with outdoor furniture and there is a BBQ on the back deck, with easy access to the kitchen. A large and well-equipped laundry with washing machine is adjacent to the kitchen.

The property has two large bedrooms, both with queen size beds, and built in robes. The downstairs bedroom also includes a set of bunks, and is located next to the family bathroom. Upstairs there is a large main bedroom with its own private deck, a spacious en-suite and large TV / DVD. All beds have quality mattresses. Pillows, doonas with covers, bath mats and hand towels are provided. Sheets, pillow cases and towels can be supplied for an additional charge.

The home is perfect for either a family or couples and can sleep 6. There is an additional single sofa bed in the snug area at the top of the stairs.

Other features include free Wi-Fi, reverse-cycle air conditioning on both levels, separate room heaters and electric blankets on queen beds in winter. There is a coffee machine (Aldi) and a limited supply of coffee pods, tea, milk and sugar, as well as a complimentary bottle of champagne for your arrival.

The property has easy access and is set amongst landscaped surrounds, with off street car parking and an outside shower.

Sandy Point Beach is truly one of the great beaches of the world with the stunning back drop of Wilsons Promontory National Park. Its revered for its surfing and is also a safe, patrolled family beach. Shallow Inlet is just a few minutes drive away and offers one of the best windsurfing beaches in the state, boat launching facilities, and a family friendly beach you can even drive your car on! Sandy Point is a great base from which to explore the many attractions of South Gippsland and the Wilsons Promontory National Park.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a strict NO PARTY policy. The house is located in a residential area and noise and public disturbances will not be tolerated. Guests will be asked to leave the premises without notice should noise or nuisance complaints be received or if the number of guests exceeds the number confirmed at time of booking.

Guest Access:
You have use of the entire house and yard.
Guest access information will be provided the day of your arrival via email. This will include details on how to locate the property, where to locate the key safe, and the key safe combination to access the keys.

The Neighborhood:
Picturesque Sandy Point beach is a pleasant 3-minute walk away at Ned Neales with the patrolled beach 10 minutes’ walk from the house near the local milk bar. The Shallow Inlet, famous for wind surfing and fishing is a short 5-minute drive. Other Sandy Point recreation facilities suitable for children and families include the mini golf on the foreshore, the Surf Lifesaving Club, Children's Playgrounds, Tennis courts and a half basketball court.
Numerous recreation and relaxation facilities are within reach such as golf courses, bush walks, fine restaurants and of course the South Gippsland's popular wineries and art galleries. Accessible to both Wilson's Promontory and South Gippsland the location makes it an easy drive to the popular Squeaky Beach, Waratah Bay, Inverloch and Port Franklin.

Getting Around:
Enjoy the convenience of shopping facilities in Foster, just 20 minutes away, with the luxury of being able to return to the peace and tranquillity of Sandy Point. The Sandy Point milk bar provides convenience within walking distance of the house and supplies a selection of food, fishing goods, household items, magazines and a bottle shop.

Other Things to Note:
Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.
Each property in Sandy Point is on tank water and septic systems.

Please note: There will be a call out charge if we are called out after hours. Eg: Losing Keys.

Interaction with guests is usually by email and phone, however, we do have offices in Sandy Point and Foster.

Well Designed and appointed property, pleasant outlook . Excellent position for beach access . Whilst furniture and fittings were excellent the mattresses on the beds were pretty uncomfortable .

This was an ideal property for the 4 of us (parents and daughter and partner). Everything was great about it - the position, well-equipped, separate sleeping areas (upstairs and downstairs), sparkling clean and well-looked after, prime position, outdoor sitting areas back and front. It was surprisingly spacious and even when we had friends visit there was ample room for dinner. Communication with real estate company was also great - clear and timely when we had questions. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again for sure.
