A hidden sanctuary on a generous block, shared with the residential wombats.

The Space:
This comfy beach shack is located just left of the turn circle in Ash Avenue, Sandy Point.
With stylish touches to the home, the property has everything you and your family need, catered for.
The simple layout of the home is easy to navigate - with an open plan Kitchen, Living, Dining area - the perfect shared space and the hub of the home.
To the right of the central hub is a hallway connecting the 2 main bedrooms, a bathroom/laundry and large kids rumpus room, doubled as a 3rd bedroom.
The Master contains a queen bed and an adjoining ensuite with a shower & toilet. The second main bedroom contains a Queen bed with a set of single bunks. Thirdly, the rumpus room is generous in size with lots of floor space, a small tv + DVD player and kids toys and games. It contains a double bed with an overhead bunk (tri-bunk) and a couch which may be converted into a double bed for extras to sleep on (no doona or pillows provided for this, you will need to bring your own). We will approve up to 10 guests.

The laundry is located down the end of the hallway with a shower, toilet, washer and dryer.

BYO LINEN:
Bedding is provided but guests must bring their own linen and towels.

Smoking is NOT permitted inside the property and linen is NOT provided.

Pets are welcomed! But please be mindful of the wildlife you share the space with.

PLEASE NOTE: A 2% surcharge applies for all credit card transactions. This charge is NON REFUNDABLE. There will be an additional charge (Service Fee) of $80.00 added on top of your total invoice balance due that may not appear within your original invoice. This charge is also NON REFUNDABLE.

Guest Access:
You have use of the entire house and yard.
Guest access information will be provided the day of your arrival via email. This will include details on how to locate the property, where to locate the key safe, and the key safe combination to access the keys.

The Neighborhood:
Wilsons Promontory is located 30 minutes from the town, there are some key stops along the way. Fish Creeks iconic pub, Long John Pickles cafe and Alison Lester art gallerie are a must see when travelling through. Gurney's Cidery and other wineries are dotted around the area, welcoming all who are passing through. Stroll the stretch of beach running from Sandy Point Surf Beach (patrolled in summer) right down past Waratah Bay surf beach, to the Walkerville South beach, home of the Lime Kilns. Find yourself accompanied by locals fishing, swimming and exploring the many rock caves in the surrounds. Will you manage to find the infamous hidden Blue Pools, a secret swimming spot the locals adore?

Wherever you may venture to in our favourite part of South Gippsland, be sure to prepare, the locals are always up for a friendly yarn.

Getting Around:
Sandy Point is a lovely Village to stroll around, however getting beyond this you will need your own car.
If you require electric vehicle charging, there are locations at Sandy Point Mens Shed, Fish Creek + more.

Other Things to Note:
Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.
Each property in Sandy Point is on tank water and septic systems.
