Summary:
Little blue beach house is a cosy 2-bedroom house in easy walking distance to the patrolled beach and General Store.

The Space:
One bedroom has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has a double bed/single bunk combo with a spare single mattress, a porta cot available if needed.
BYO LINEN:
Bedding is provided (doona and pillows) but guests must bring their own linen and towels.

The lounge has a TV, DVD player and stereo and can be screened off from the main living area.

The tidy modern bathroom has a shower over full size bath tub and separate toilet. In the laundry you will find a washing machine and laundry trough.

The entire house can be kept lovely and warm with the wood heater (must bring own wood),electric heaters and pedestal fans are also available.

The compact kitchen is well appointed with an oven with electric cooktop, microwave and medium fridge.

A large covered deck is ideal for entertaining, with a gas BBQ and outdoor setting provided.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a strict NO PARTY policy. The house is located in a residential area and noise and public disturbances will not be tolerated. Guests will be asked to leave the premises without notice should noise or nuisance complaints be received or if the number of guests exceeds the number confirmed at time of booking.

Guest Access:
You have use of the entire house and yard.
Guest access information will be provided the day of your arrival via email. This will include details on how to locate the property, where to locate the key safe, and the key safe combination to access the keys.

The Neighborhood:
Picturesque Sandy Point beach is a pleasant 3-minute walk away at Ned Neales with the patrolled beach 10 minutes walk from the house near the General store. Shallow Inlet, famous for wind surfing and fishing is a short 5-minute drive. Other Sandy Point recreation facilities suitable for children and families include the mini golf on the foreshore, the Surf Lifesaving Club, Children's Playgrounds, Tennis courts and a half basketball court.
Numerous recreation and relaxation facilities are within reach such as golf courses, bush walks, fine restaurants and of course the South Gippsland's popular wineries and art galleries. Accessible to both Wilson's Promontory and South Gippsland the location makes it an easy drive to the popular Squeaky Beach, Waratah Bay, Inverloch and Port Franklin.

Getting Around:
Enjoy the convenience of shopping facilities in Foster, just 20 minutes away, with the luxury of being able to return to the peace and tranquillity of Sandy Point. The General store provides convenience within walking distance of the house and supplies a selection of food, fishing goods, household items, magazines and a bottle shop.

Other Things to Note:
Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.
Each property in Sandy Point is on tank water and septic systems.

Interaction with guests is usually by email and phone, however, we do have offices in Sandy Point and Foster.
