Upper-level duplex unit, perfect for families or groups. This inviting space boasts 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a combined dining/living area that opens onto a private deck for serene mornings or peaceful evenings. Added convenience is provided with a washer and dryer located downstairs. The unit comfortably accommodates up to 7 guests across 6 beds. Minutes to Cedar Point (5 min), Kalahari Resort (10 min), waterfront, ferries, shopping, and groceries.

Choose from our six themed listings – Roller Coaster, Beach Oasis, Buckeye Sports, Rock N Roll, Sport Extravaganza and Wilderness Retreat – each offering a unique ambiance. The unit is located in a quiet corner of downtown historical Sandusky, minutes to shops and attractions, including water, wildlife, and amusement parks. Newly decorated and furnished! The unit has two bedrooms, a full bathroom, a family room, a formal dining room, a kitchen, and private entrance/access to the rear balcony. It offers 2 Smart TVs, a TV in the living room, another one in the dining room and one in the small bedroom. Feel free to also log in to any of your streaming services on our TVs during your stay. The apartment has stainless steel appliances, stove, water & ice dispensing refrigerator, garbage disposal, super fast free wifi, and 3 AC units. The spacious deck allows you to enjoy sunset or sunrise.

The entrance is on the upper deck/balcony in the back of the house.
You will be given the code on the day of the check-in when the cleaning crew is ready.

Up to two cars can park at the back, on the right side of the garage door. For additional vehicles, free parking is available in front of the house in our safe, peaceful neighborhood. Please leave the left side of the garage clear, as it's reserved for the downstairs unit.

All detergent, softener, and cleaning products used to clean the property are Fragrance-Free and Hypoallergenic.

Equipped with external cameras to enable self check in and check out. Cameras will be recording 24/7.

Self check-in and check-out.

The day of check-in, you will receive an access code to use the Smart keypad opening the door. The access code will last the duration of your stay.

The house is old but that is a major part of its charm. It was spotless and not having to pack my own linens was the deciding factor in deciding to stay there. Ms. Chicotel was a wonderful host--couldn't ask for better. I also loved the Keurig and tea pot. There was decaf and regular coffee and in varying strenghts. Who does that? After a long drive up from Maryland, it was pure bliss to relax with a cup of tea. I slept in the next day, had coffee and then planned my grocery trip. Already, I was relaxed. The apartment is central to everything I wanted to do and everyone I wanted to see. Ms. Chicotel has several other places and I am looking at these for next year. She has my vote 1000%

This was an ok place to stay, we were not there much. I booked this to have some where more private than a hotel room to sleep for my daughter and I going to Cedar Point. The steps going to the upper unit were very steep and shakey. I would have preferred the lower unit, but did not pay attention there was more than one uint on this property.

Safe and Convenient location for everything you need. Sports Force, Cedar Point, Ferry ride, walk down town, shopping and restaurants.All new and working appliances. Laundry on site was excellent. AC units kept the place cool and we were comfortable. Kitchen is small but had everything I needed to prep and cook meals for my family. Eating and Family room areas were nice and spacious. Coffee/tea nook was perfect! Beds: The bunk bed has a weight limit so we did not use the top bunk. My athletes slept well on the mattresses and said they were comfortable. Queen bed was okay for me or my husband but together was a tad uncomfortable for both of us- not terrible. There is a pack and play for baby. There is space for an air mattress in dining room if you bring one to spread out a bit.Neighbors were friendly and the neighborhood was very walkable for taking care of my dogs. The stairs in the back were steep but the railings and lighting at night made it safe for everyone. I recommend for families visiting Sandusky! I hope to come back next year.

It worked great for what we needed. It is up stairs and not sure if I missed it in the listing but the top bunk says weight limit is like 120lbs( which we didn’t want to test it). We had enough beds where it didn’t bother us but could be a problem for others. Other than that it had everything we needed and the host answered on the first call when we had a issue and fixed it

The photos of the interior were accurate but the property needs a good deep cleaning and better linens (towels, sheets, blankets, etc.). Also, the outside landing and stairs could use a good cleaning. We were really concerned about how much we could possible track into the house and our vehicles.

Good for 2 nights

The steps leading up to the apartment are a little steep but that could be just me. The only 2 complaints I had were it was only 58°F. in the house when we got there and it took over an hour to start warming up once it started it went quickly,which would have been fine except i have a 5 month old baby . I called Mimi 20 minutes in she did call her maintenance guy but it had started to warm up before he got there. My other complaint was there was no cookie sheet,maybe someone someone stole it idk. The bedrooms were nice and far enough apart my friends said they could barely hear the baby when he cried so that was a plus. It seemed t be a nice neighborhood. She had extras the re in case we forgot something. She provided a pack and play. The stove stove and refrigerator worked really well the beds were comfy overall satisfied.

Perfect for small family

We stayed in Sandusky for my daughter's wrestling meet at the cedar point sports center. This apartment was perfect for what we needed and had extra things that we might have forgotten. We did lol . Thank you so much for a nice safe home.

So cute & cozy!

Our stay was amazing! Everything was as it said it was. It was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood! It was close to everything we were doing or needed! The hose messaged back immediately and when we had an issue she had on site staff there within the hour. It was amazing. If i had to say anything negative it would be the stairs...i didnt realize the entrance was an upstairs apartment and it was kind of a pain to get all of our belongings in and out. The other thing is the Keurig machine kept putting coffee grounds in my cup. Other than that it was great and we will definitely be returning!!

A great place in a quaint area

The place was great! The check in process was easy, and the place was very clean and was furnished well. The area was quiet and felt safe, and there was a lot of restaurants and stores within walking distance of the property. The owners were great and I would 100% stay again!

Great stay!

This was the perfect overnight stay for our family of 6. All the sleeping arrangements were comfortable and this was in perfect proximity to Cedar Point! Bonus was the coffee and tea bar ready to go for the next morning! Would definitely stay again!

Minimal

While there were several positives about the property, we all agreed that it had enough problems to make it overpriced. First, when we arrived after a hot day at Cedar Point, the apartment was very hot and stuffy. The window air conditioners hadn't been turned on at all. We didn't sleep well because we were so hot all night. The biggest problem, though, was that there were hundreds of flying bugs in one of the bedrooms. The teenages who were supposed to sleep in there packed up their belongings, shut the bedroom door, and slept in the family room. If they had stayed, one of the three would have slept on a trundle bed, which I don't count as a bed. It was more like a mattress on the floor. We were also annoyed by how little counter space was available in the kitchen. The dishwasher is portable and sits on the counter. We weren't going to figure out how to hook it up, so we had to move the dish drain out of the one sink onto the stove to do dishes. We literally had room on the counter for only one bag of groceries. But we had even less space in the bathroom. There was no space at all for our clothes while taking a shower. I see in the pictures that the decor on top of the toilet, as well as the piles of towels, were removed from the listing picture of the bathroom. Similarly, the dishwasher was removed from one of the pictures of the kitchen. Overall, the bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen were super small, but check in was easy, and the place was clean and close to Cedar Point.
