"So the room itself was clean, cozy, and decorated nicely. I have zero qualms about the room itself. HOWEVER, this was one of the strangest places I've ever stayed at. The rooms (maybe 6 total) were attached to the rear of a Horse Betting Booth, a bar/restaurant, and a bowling alley. You literally have to check in with the restaurant hostess as there isn't any actual hotel staff. Just outside of the rooms were random offices as well. So if you don't mind staying in the rear of a horse...

"Staff was good. Rooms, including the bathroom, were tiny. Not much room to move and no table. Ok, for an overnight stay, but not great for an extended stay. Looks like they tried to update, but there were some parts of the walls that needed repair in our room."

"We would absolutely stay here again. It was a great location close to great restaurant options and pretty views of the downtown and water. In the reviews I read the biggest complaint was the noise level. You could clear as day hear any conversations of other rooms if you were in the hallway. Once inside our rooms it wasn’t as bad but we are pretty easy sleepers and other guests were very respectful."

"It is a business place with a pretty great atmosphere! I loved the hot breakfast options. The pool was heated and indoors. I think they use salt water instead of chlorine and I enjoyed that. I stayed in a king suite with my friend the night before going to Cedar Point. It's a great location for that. We were fully rested after making the trek from Illinois. My room was quiet. The AC is a force to be reckoned with, we could see our breath after it kicked on haha. Big thanks to Ken and other team...

"The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating and went beyond the norm to make us feel comfortable. We knew based on previous reviews that this resort can be filled up with kids during tournaments, however we would always choose to go back here as the resort and staff make it all worthwhile.
