Welcome to our charming little town—your stay away from the busyness of life. Slow down, breathe deep, and take in the surrounding mountains, farms, wildlife, and sparkling lakes. It’s not uncommon to spot a visiting town moose wandering nearby!

This cozy, thoughtfully designed 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment is conveniently located right in town and offers comfort, charm, and walkable access to everything Sandpoint is known for.

Walk everywhere!

• Short stroll to the Farmers Market and City Beach
• 5-minute walk to the Dover Bike Trail
• 15-minute drive to Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort

Pet Friendly Stay

We love pets, and Sandpoint is a very pet-friendly town! There are many nearby on-leash and off-leash walking areas and trails, making it easy to enjoy your stay with your furry companion.

We loved the cozy cottage! We stayed for 2 nights and we were able to explore Sandpoint as well as cook a lovely meal in the kitchen. Design of cottage was well thought out with all the necessities. We had a great stay

We stayed for 4 nights with a dog. The property was stated as being pet friendly, but we did not find that to be the case. The property is on a shared lot with its main home that is accessible by the street. To get to this property you drive into an alley. The main home has access to the yard and this home does not. If you are needing to let your dog use the potty it has to be done in the alley. From the photos it appears that you have access to a yard area for your dog. The downstairs of this property has a "shared foyer" and a garage. There is no door to the upstairs from the foyer, so whoever goes into the foyer could easily walk up the stairs into your area. This was not ideal for us or the dog. Also, the front home has access to the garage and are using it all the time. So keep in mind that there is traffic and alot of noise being made below you at all times during the day and night. Lastly, there is a single parking space in the alley in front of the home which is also the garage door access that you aren't supposed to block. Also the one bathroom in the house the sink was completely clogged. The kithen was nice.

Beautiful, clean and cozy. Check In was easy. Centrally located close to everything. There are two flights of stairs, not ideal for older crowd if mobility is a concern. Kitchen well stocked and fresh eggs from the hosts chicken was a nice a touch! Thank you for great stay.

The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, we cooked most of our meals at the cottage. It is within walking distance of all the shops and entertainment in downtown Sandpoint. It was clean with a real cozy home away from home feel. The hosts were very responsive and provided great communication for our stay. Highly recommend. :)

My mom and I traveled on the Amtrak to Sandpoint, ID, for a couple of days. We had a lovely stay, and the Sandpoint Cottage was the perfect fit for our trip. Mindy, the hostess, was incredibly responsive to my messages, even before booking the trip. One of the things that really stood out to us about our stay, is how welcoming the little cottage was and the little "extras" that made our stay even better. We really appreciated having coffee available and a few snacks upon our arrival. Having bikes available for us to use during our stay was a significant benefit, especially since we didn't rent a vehicle. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you come to Sandpoint!

The property was beautiful and located in the perfect spot for exploring town on foot or on bicycle. The host communicated prior to our stay to make the check-in process seamless. So many thoughtful details were included: snacks, tips for restaurants/sights to see, and even bikes to use. Would 100% recommend!

House has three levels so lots of stairs; awkward with lots of ski gear. Utensils and cups mismatched and lowest quality No dishwasher so many utensils were unclean and had food baked on. General furniture is lowest grade available. Dust balls and dirt around on the floors so the clean-up needs to be more thorough. Owner very good on communication, and we did not raise any of these issues with her.
