Welcome to Palm View, based at Sandown Bay Holiday Centre. Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Just a short ten-minute walk down the beach path to the sandy beaches of Yaverland. Great for fossil hunting or long walks. Enjoy the stunning views up towards Culver Down and out across the bay. The nearby town of Sandown with its shops, cafes and restaurants and bars are just a short drive away.

Offers exclusive privacy with captivating rural vistas towards Bembridge Downs. Unobserved by neighbouring chalets, this haven provides an intimate escape, its well positioned on the site with a large grass area in front of the chalet and a view towards Culver Cliff which will help you relax and unwind.

Sandown Holiday Bay Centre is a quiet place with lots of open spaces and grass. Ball games are permitted (But please be considerate) it’s a safe place for children to play with little traffic on site. The park is simply a great base for a holiday be it a family or group of friends. It’s location - pretty much on the beach - is hard to beat, and there are lots of play parks, pubs, restaurants, shops, and a swimming pool in Sandown with many just a few minutes’ walk away. Supermarkets will deliver to the site. If walking is your thing, you are right on a fantastic stretch of the coastal path. If you’re looking for all-inclusive holidaying with everything on site then it maybe not for you, but otherwise we don't believe you will be disappointed.

LOCATION:

Glorious Sandown Bay is on your doorstep, and voted one of the Island’s best beaches, providing a long stretch of sand and great swimming waters. Along this stretch you can see the red sandstone through to the white chalk of Culver cliff, and it is around here that fossil remains can be found. Sandham Garden’s play area is just down the road from the chalet with go karting sky nets and crazy golf and children’s play area. A short flat walk further along towards Sandown and you will also find the Wild Heart Animal Sanctuary formerly the isle of Wight Zoo, famous for its big cats. The town is brimming with attractions to entertain visitors, most of them right on the beach front itself, so you never have to stray too far from the golden sands. Should you enjoy a coastal walk, you can walk the length of Sandown Bay from Yaverland past the Pier along the seaside revetment all the way to the popular neighbouring town of Shanklin. If you are keen on an active holiday, the bay is hugely popular with watersports, and you’ll certainly see people paddle boarding, surfing, catamaran and dingy sailing, windsurfing and kite surfing, depending on the weather.

There are numerous attractions to discover for all ages on this beautiful sunny island. The Needles landmark attraction is a must see, with its chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse, and coloured sands of Alum Bay. Why not pay a visit to Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence, Osborne House and Gardens, or perhaps Blackgang Chine, the oldest themed attraction in the UK.

Bathroom: Bath with overhead shower, toilet, pedestal wash basin.

OUTSIDE

The parking on the site is in a car park roughly 100 metres walk away from the property front door, available on a first come first served basis.
