"I really enjoyed staying in this home. It is so close to everything that you need. It was a short drive to every place we had to go. "The best thing about this place is it is pet friendly.Maybe this place is new to renters but the lack of kitchen supplies forced us to buy them while there. I mean things you would expect; drinking glasses, mixing bowl, measuring cups. Nothing. Also the water in this rental is not fit for your pets. If you rent it be sure to bring a lot of bottled water. Another issue is the heat. They use a natural gas burning unit and it is not vented out of the house. We had to purchase a carbon monoxide...

"We stayed for the night for our 11th wedding anniversary. Holly is an amazing host, as soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed and given a tour of Cowboy town along with how it came to be. Then shown our cabin which was so beautiful. It was quiet and private, there was a wedding the next day and even the preparation for that did not interfere with our stay. We will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice private escape. Thank you Holly"

"In the summer, this place is probably great as the other reviews have indicated. However, I would strongly recommend not staying here in the winter. The temperature fluctuated too much to be comfortable, the lighting is glaring blue fluorescent overheads with no bedroom lamps in either room. Our family enjoyed using the kayaks and exploring the lakes and channels nearby, as well as using the fishing gear that was all supplied at the house.
