One of a kind property- An Acre on the Ocean & Classic Beach Cottage

  • There are no other properties on the entire CA coast like this one. A 2br/1.5ba beach cottage. The living room has a sleeper sofa with a memory foam bed, so 5 or 6 can sleep comfortably in total. Close to the other cottage, but still separate for traveling parties of families and friends.

    One full acre on the ocean bluff with private gate access to the beach below.

    A couple of miles to Hearst Castle, the elephant seals, and downtown Cambria.

    We love the peacefulness of the area, the sound of the waves at night, the quiet of the "private" beach, and the amazing destinations that people come from all over the world to see.

The view was amazing! Direct access to the beach. The house was clean and well appointed -- perfect for 2 couples. We loved hanging out in the living room and used the kitchen. Justin communicated very well before and during our stay

Absolutely amazing. Beautiful property with spectacular views and private beach access. Clean and comfortable. The host was attentive and quick to respond to all questions. There won't be a thing you need as this host has thought of everything and supplied with any items you can think of. Thank you for such an amazing sea side cottage experience.Albertina Kelley

Loved hearing the ocean! Beautiful beach! The location was perfect, close to Hearst Castle, sea lions, tide pools, etc. Host was accommodating and quick communicator. Recommend Big Sur restaurant.

Great Walks

Adorable, Quiet and Quaint Seaview cottage

We wanted a quick and quiet get away and this rental hit the mark. Gorgeous ocean view setting and CIM Franks and extremely clean home. Wild life sightings were common and the beach walks were soothing. Well appointed kitchen, fast and reliable internet and very comfortable bed. Highly recommend. We already booked our return trip.

Great getaway

First, Justin was an outstanding host. He was very communicative yet very respectful that this was a quiet retreat. Justin‘s place is definitely a labor of love. We appreciated how very clean this place was and that he provided cleaning supplies. There is tons to explore in the area, but, I must admit- wish we had a day to just enjoy this little cottage more. It really is a gem. Thank you Justin!… this was our first time using VRBO,, but out of all the places we’ve visited, your hospitality stood out!

What a gem!

First, Justin the homeowner is FANTASTIC! Super responsive, always available, and straight up A+ guy. Second, the beach cottage is AMAZING! The interior is completely remodeled and everything you need is there. Location can't be beat! Direct access to the beach where our dogs could run/walk offleash. How great is that? I can't say enough great things about this place. In fact, I sort of want to keep this a secret to myself, but the world should know that it's truly a hidden gem. Thanks for the opportunity to stay at your blessed home.

The patios outside are perfect for dining or watching the sunset, with direct access to the beach for peaceful walks. My daughter and I and our family stayed at this beautiful beach cottage for five days over New Year’s, and it was simply magnificent. The cottage is so quaint and precious, simple, clean and charming right out of a Dickens novel.We brought our doggies there’s a beautiful lawn in front of the cottage and then just steps away to your own in San Simeon, which was just simply divine and glorious. I walked every morning with my daughter and friends and family over the pebble Stone rocks and through the surf. The weather was spectacular even on the one overcast day it was still beautiful. It’s rustic and rugged and charming and everything you need. Nothing more. We were minutes away from downtown Cambria and the most gorgeous hikes in San Simeon near hurst castle. You can imagine with Vista’s. For endless. Decades. The caretaker Justin was always available if we needed him and check-in was easy and simple. I will definitely be back and hopefully often I fell in love with this little blue cottage and it surroundings and the sweet people of Cambria and San Simeon, I just can’t speak enough about how glorious vacation was this cottage is a 10 plus plus plus I recommended to everyone
