I ended up in a different apartment from the one in the picture because of a problem with the original listing. The owner was nice and accessible and professional.
The apartment is also nice, though there are at least 3 issues you should know about:
1. There is no hot water
2. There is no desk to work at (just the dining table)
3. There is no Air conditioner in the main room (just the two bedrooms)
The lack of A/C meant that it was too hot to sit comfortably in the main room and using the restroom was also uncomfortably hot.
The beds were very small (between a twin and double size), but were reasonably comfortable and I slept well.
All in all, it was a good price and a good stay. As long as you don't need a desk to work and you can handle the heat without A/C in the main room, this should work fine for you.
Also, the internet is incredibly slow, about 10-15 mbps. But that's very common in El Salvador.
