"I had the worst hotel experience of my life here! The shower had a cheap plastic shower head that was broken when my daughter first tried to take a shower. The shower head disconnected from its base and couldn’t be used. We reported the issue and a staff member worked on it and said it was fixed.
Then my son tried to take a shower and the shower head disconnected from its base even more. It had been 2 days without a functioning shower at this point. I told the staff as we left that we would...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our few days at La Vida Mountain Resort and Spa. We particularly enjoyed the evenings watching spectacular thunderstorms flashing in distant skies over other valleys while there was not a drop of rain where we were. The food was consistently very good and the staff always friendly and helpful. We would definitely return."

"The location was beautiful. The rooms are VERY large. I was not aware that the room did not have a/c or fan (but I did not read the details, I just assumed it did because of the pricing) the weather was not super hot this day so it was ok, but on a warmer day it definetly needs it, also no TV at least in our room, the bathroom had some leaking in the shower. The beds and pillows were ok. Maybe we just assumed beacuse of the price that it would be a little more premium. But the experience was Ok...

"We had such a wonderful experience staying here! The property was beautiful and had such a peaceful, jungle-like feel, even though it was conveniently close to town. It felt very private and surrounded by nature, and we were lucky enough to see several different types of birds during our stay. They have parking inside, so if you have any friends or guest that drive and want to come visit they can leave there car parked inside.
gs on the property that would bark occasionally, most likely when...
