"I thought paradise meant white sand beaches, but now it’s been redefined. The attention to detail inside and out was absolutely outstanding. Such a lovely home and gorgeous property. The hosts were amazing and attentive—so generous with how they stocked the home, including eggs, bread, snacks, and more as well as advice and quickly answering questions. "Off the beaten path, which is OK, but there is no signage that you are entering the right road. The TV was missing from the bedroom. Couldn’t get our apps to work on the tv in the living room. Shower had some rotting trim. Ethernet cable were just run dangling along the walls. It was clean, and conveniently located between Quepos and Manuel Antonio."

"The property was in a nice family neighborhood, with friendly helpful neighbors, and a gorgeous view that was accurate as shown in the photos. We loved El Castillo overall. The host advertised this via Expedia as "Entire place - You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party" and that is what I expected we were reserving and paying for. We got there and found it was 2 separate studio rentals on levels 1 and 2 of the house. The landlady was nice...
