Oceanfront condo w/ plunge pool

Summary:

Fold back the glass doors and the living room, kitchen and your private plunge pool on the terrace all open up to the ocean breeze. This 3-bedroom, 2-bath condo in the gated La Escondida complex sleeps six, with a king bedroom, a queen bedroom and a third room with a double bed and a bunk. Two shared rooftop pools, air conditioning, a dishwasher and 24/7 security. Playa Principal is 10 to 15 minutes on foot. Great for families or two couples.



The Space:

The living room, dining table and kitchen are one open space, and the doors open completely so the breeze comes straight off the ocean. Step out onto the private terrace for your plunge pool, sun loungers and the view.



Bedrooms: the main bedroom has a king bed. Bedroom two has a queen bed. The third bedroom has a double bed and two single beds as a bunk.



Bathrooms: two full bathrooms with shampoo, conditioner and body soap.



Kitchen: a breakfast bar for chatting with the cook, plus fridge, freezer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and blender, with cookware, dishes and wine glasses.



Comfort: air conditioning, ceiling fans, room-darkening shades, TV, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, iron and a safe.



Guest Access:

The whole condo is yours, including the private plunge pool on your terrace. There are also two shared pools on the rooftop of the building. La Escondida is a gated complex with 24/7 security on site.



The Neighborhood:

You're in a quiet residential spot on the clifftop in El Faro. Playa Principal is 10 to 15 minutes on foot, and the Adoquín's restaurants and shops are 10 to 15 minutes. The stairs down to Playa Manzanillo are about 5 minutes on foot, and the Rinconada is about 20 minutes on foot.



Getting Around:

The airport is 10 to 15 minutes by taxi. Most walks around this part of town are flat. Taxis go anywhere in town, typically for 30 to 45 pesos, and colectivos (shared trucks that work like buses) cost around 7 pesos depending on distance. To rent a car you'll need Mexican insurance. There's free parking on the street.

Other Things to Note:

We are located in a friendly and welcoming community and, although this is a holiday destination, it's home to other people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between the hours of 10 PM and 8 AM noise should be kept to a minimum. No smoking of any kind.



Please review the amenity limitations (under house rules), as some may incur an additional cost.



Early check-in and late check-out may be available on a case-by-case basis for an additional fee, depending on availability. This cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on same-day guest turnover. Baggage storage is always available.



All guests are required to sign the rental agreement prior to their stay. A secure link will be sent before arrival, and completion is required to access the property.



Your stay includes 50 kWh of electricity per day. Any usage above this allowance will be charged at $5 MXN per additional kWh. Consumption is monitored daily, and meter readings can be provided upon request or if the limit is exceeded. To help stay within the allowance, we recommend turning off the A/C when leaving the property.



Hurricane season notice



If your stay falls during hurricane season, please be aware that storms can cause power outages in the area. These are outside our control and can happen at short notice. We're not able to offer refunds or partial refunds for power outages or other storm-related disruptions during your stay.



If severe weather or another natural event prevents you from travelling, cancellations will follow the cancellation policy on your booking. We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance that covers weather and natural events, as any claim for costs in that situation would need to go through your insurer.
