This Sunset Beach condo lies on a private sandy beach just a few feet away from the brilliant turquoise waters of the Caribbean. It boasts breathtaking views of the sea and reef from your porch, pool with covered gazebo/bar area, and a private pier!

Terrific 1800 plus square foot condo on two floors (2nd and 3rd) with three bedrooms, two baths, full kitchen, and air conditioning. Ot also boasts two huge balconies with a view of the ocean. Sleeps up to eight on one king, one queen, two twin beds and a queen sleeper sofa.


Amenities include fully equipped kitchen, ceiling fans, DVD player, cable TV, high speed wireless internet access, Italian tiled floors throughout. We've got bikes to get you in and out of San Pedro, and kayaks in which to explore the waters. Hammocks and lounge chairs hand-carved from the local water resistant hardwood abound the property.
Currently we do not have washers and dryers (we are checking into industrial machines for the entire complex) but we do have Irma Palmer! She will wash, fold and dry your laundry for $20bzd/load. If you get this to her early she can almost always have it done by the end of the day. Extra guests over 2 are charged $30/night/pp plus 9% Belize lodging tax.

Most visitors to Ambergris Caye are lured there by the water. This is no surprise! Belize is home to the largest barrier reef in the western hemisphere and therefore most people come to take advantage of the superior diving and snorkeling sites found close by - the Blue Hole, Hol Chan Reserve, Mexico Rocks and more. Sunset Beach is fortunate to have an excellent guiding service, Suya Tours, located directly behind the condominium complex.

Swimming and snorkeling from the end of our pier is really good. We have a ladder to get you in and out of the water and buoys to mark areas designated for swimming. We have created an artificial reef by filling under the dock with lots of rocks. The fish like this area and sometimes even the harmless nurse sharks come around to feed on the small fish. There is a nice area called “Secret Beach” about an hour from here by golf cart that is excellent for swimming, the best on the island!

Sunset Beach is located 2.5 miles south of the town of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, on a beautiful, tranquil 200 foot stretch of beach. This privately owned condo complex (12 condos) with its private pier, was listed as one of the ten best places to stay on Ambergris Caye by the editor of Belize First Magazine. It is close enough to San Pedro to enjoy its amenities and nightlife, yet far enough away to feel as if you are the only one on the island! San Pedro is darling - funky and laid-back, with numerous markets, restaurants and venues for great music. There is easy access to and from town by golf cart, taxi or bicycle. You could even walk for a bit of exercise! (~40 minutes)

Once you book, our concierge will contact you and help you with any needs you may have, including transportation to and from the island and golf cart rentals. When you arrive, our on-site caretaker will meet you with your key and make you feel at home.
