It was a great place to stay! Unless you plan on just sitting out at the beach and relaxing you may want to rent a golf cart. There are several restaurants and bars in walking didtance , but of you want the night life and shopping you will have to make the trip to town. The owners were great, very friendly and made the best breakfast/coffee. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to SP.

Nova and Kevin have a gem on their hands. They are both so kind and welcoming from the moment you arrive. Beautiful property, excellent breakfast each morning and a lovely beach in the backyard. Close to activities on secret beach and a few options to each nearby during the afternoon and evening. Met some wonderful guests while we were there. So thankful we found this lovely cabana by the beach. We will definitely be back sooner than later!

An amazing property with wonderful hosts! Kevin’s French toast is a must! We loved the private beach. Nova and Kevin are the best hosts.

Couldn't have asked for a better stay
My new husband and I spent our honeymoon at Casa Nova. It was our first time in Belize, and we couldn't have asked for a better lodging experience. The hosts are incredible, the breakfast was terrific, and the host's dogs are super bright. We couldn't have asked more for our stay.

We picked the right place
This was a perfect quiet and private get-away. A great location with seaweed-free water and combed white sand. The view from our room was divine. Room and deck were cleaned every day, and the place is nicely decorated with tropical plants. Our hosts were extremely helpful and pleasant and thought of everything you might need, such as sunblock and bug spray, access to coffee, liquor, drinks and snacks, and paddle boards and floats. They also make a mean breakfast every morning. The Caye itself is not perfect, but our stay at Nova Cabanas was perfect. 10/10.

Casanova was a perfect get away. It was a top class place to stay. The owners were very helpful and made you feel like it was your own home. The view from my room was Unbelizeable! We will definitely be back one of our best vacations

Little piece of Paradise
Love this resort. The hosts are amazing and very accommodating if travel plans change. The included breakfast is a nice touch to start the day. The rooms are nice and have everything you would need. It's a prefect get away that's off the beaten path but not too far to still enjoy other areas of the island. This was our second stay and we will most definetly go back!

Great place
Great stay, great hosts and staff. The beach looks like it is from a movie. If you want a beach, you have to stay on the west side of the island due to the sea grass that builds up. The west side is calm with no waves, beautiful, but is about a 30 minutes golf cart ride.

Ok. It's so beautiful and perfect. if You plan to stay in the island You need to stay here it's prívate , You are going to be in the most beautiful and calm place. You got kayaks to use . JC the manager it's the Best don't go anywhere alse yo drink they got the Best drink un secret beach . Honestly only good stuff to Say about this places. We wish staying more time here

If you are going to Caye Ambergris, Casa Nova should be your first choice. The main reason is that it’s in the best part of the island since the water is beautiful blue and sargasso free (unlike the other side), it’s private (only 4 suites) and it also has its own beach. The entire week we spend here, we felt privileged to have the whole beach for ourselves, it felt like being on our own private island. The staff is wonderful as well, from Nova and Kevin being best hosts, Nicaraguan chef Samuel making the most delicious meals, JC being so attentive (he makes the best pina coladas) and Evelin keeping our room pristine. They’re just the nicest and friendliest people. We enjoyed playing on the paddle board and kayaks on site. Breakfast is always included and dinner is offered to guest twice a week (I recommend you to have it) but you can always grab lunch at Secret Beach (they also own a hot dog stand that makes the best doggos) and it’s at walking distance. Their 3 puppies are precious and we enjoyed their company. The drive to down is a bit crazy since there’s so many potholes and about 30 minutes, but I’m telling you it’s worth it because on the other side of the island where all the hotels are, the water smells and it’s always dirty because of the sargassum and on this side it’s perfect… oh and did I mention the sunsets? Epic sunsets.

After visiting San Pedro several times, my wife and I decided to stay out in the Secret Beach area. We feel fortunate to have booked and stayed at Casa Nova. Kevin and Nova have put together a beautiful place to disconnect and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. JC served up great drinks and a wonderful breakfast. Evelyn kept everything clean and beautiful. This is truly like staying with family that you enjoy. I can’t wait to get back. We have been spoiled by this experience with Kevin, Nova, Stryker, Maya and Gizmo. Don’t hesitate to stay here if you are fortunate enough to find it available.

The property is beautiful and very clean. The staff is amazing. The beach is nice. The only problem is its so far from town, and getting into the water there were sea bugs that kept biting me. I normally love swimming in the ocean, but could not. However, I definitely recommend this place especially if you don't want to get out much and are not wanting to get into the water.

Thanks Jeff for the kind words on our property and staff. We truly appreciate that. It is unfortunate that you had to experience the "sea bugs", they do seem to be attracted to some people more than others. But one of those things we can't help from time to time as they seem to pass thru. Yes for some the 6 1/2 miles to San Pedro seems far and for others they enjoy that 35 minute drive and will travel it daily on their vacation Thanks again for choosing to stay with us and we hope that you get to come back one day and enjoy the rest of this beautiful island.

Kevin and Nova are super hosts that made our stay, as well as the stay of other guests, so deluxe with excellent guest service that went beyond anything I had experienced. They booked our couple's massage and fixed a delicious romantic candlelight dinner outside our room, taking it up a notch! We had everything we needed, as well as crystal clear beach front with breathtaking sunsets. The room, outdoor covered dinning area and bar were great outdoor living spaces to begin and end adventurous days. We cannot wait to go back with friends. Pauline

CasaNova Cabanas was Amazing! My wife and I stayed for a week. From the first greeting till we had to leave, our time was was perfect. Kevin and Nova (the owners) are the coolest people and our newest friends. They made us feel at home and have made thier slice of heaven available to us. The room is very comfortable and the views are to die for. Maya and Gizmo, thier dogs, are there to say hi and give you love. Manuel and Miriam, the caretakers are truly exceptional! Miriam's food is amazing! Not to leave Nova out, she can cook great as well 😉. Big thanks to Manuel The place was spotless, beach raked, etc. A truly a over the top experience. The last evening they even set my wife and I up with a candle light dinner out on the pier under the palapa.......We will be back. Great memories and great people.

Kevin, Nova, and the excellent staff made this trip one we will never forget. The space itself is beyond picturesque: wake up every morning to views of paradise right out the window. We got upgraded to the suite that directly overlooks the clear blue waters. Because the cabanas are so remote, they offer delicious homecooked meals. We took kayaks every day just over to Secret Beach, where we enjoyed cocktails in the water. Kevin and Nova really made us feel at home. We've recommended to all our friends and are going back as soon as we can!

Free but not free
I've booked this place at the last minute because our plans have changed. And once I booked it I called to see how exactly to get there and then they told me that they have no more rooms available that it was a mistake. Hopefully I didn't went there before calling !!!

Dear ANONYMOUS guest: It is unfortunate that you had this experience however you must have your hotels mixed up as we use an automated booking system that ensures, if the cabana is booked no one else can book that cabana. In NO way do we overbook. We certainly do hope that you enjoyed your vacation.
