"Dexter was in touch the day of our arrival and met us at the property to let us in before check in time and give us a tour of the property. He and his wife were available for questions via WhatsApp the entire time. Sweet, modern, well appointed apartment with breathtaking views from an incredible penthouse deck. "Easy checkin process. Host very accommodating and easy. I think he should list the long alley walk to the front door where it is quite narrow and broken concrete. Not great for anyone with disabilities or very young, or very old. The noise was my biggest complaint but nothing the host can do to fix that. Hard to sleep amongst dogs barking, roosters crowing and construction. Lastly, he’s charging a bit too much since his neighbor erected a two story concrete wall thus obstructing any view there...

"We found out last minute that Expedia had overbooked the property so we were left without accommodations for multiple hours on each day. Luxury Atitlan did its ultimate best to accommodate our stay. We would love to hear back from Expedia as we were forced to move on four separate occasions. One particular night was completely off-site and was not comparable to what the nightly cost was. "

"It is set out as a Luxury apartment but can't really qualify as such. It is nice, but quite noisy as it is right next to a restaurant with live music. Also quite smelly from all the restaurants' grey water just flowing into the lake outside the windows. The bathroom is also very damp with mold on the walls. Everything else was good though, and the hosts were very responsive."

He is a scammer, asked us to pay him cash because according to him he had not received payment from Vrbo/HomeAway and our pending charge on our credit card would be removed. "We loved our stay. It was very beautiful and peaceful. The staff brought us a delicious breakfast each morning for a small charge. The only negative is not knowing in advance about the very steep and long cement path from the road to the cabin on the lake. Anyone with physical disabilities could find it impossible to manage."

"Hotel bonito e aconchegante. Nosso quarto ficava elevado com uma varanda que tinha uma das melhores vistas do lago. O único problema é que o Hotel fica numa encosta de montanha, logo, possui muitas escadas. Não recomendado para pessoas idosas ou com restrição de movimentação. Pros demais, é o preço de estar ajustado à natureza e de ter essa bela vista. "
