Great place to stay in! Right in the middle of San Luis Obispo’s main area with stores, restaurants and a bunch of fun activities. Been to SLO a few times but decided to stay in town and choice this location. I’d rate the ease of the stay, the stay and the safety of our stay a 9/10. Could’ve been a 10 in my opinion but the door wasn’t accepting the code so had to be rebooted which took a few minutes but was off putting only because there’s no front desk and you have to reach out by call or text but it was fixed asap and worked from then on out and never had the problem again and the other thing that was iffy but it turned out to be ok was the parking situation. You park a block away from where you stay but I checked on my car the two nights we stayed and everything was ok and we even got vouchers so I didn’t pay anything plus everything is walking distance. 9/10 but would recommend this place to everyone above other locations and would def stay again!

What a cool place this was! We enjoyed our time there as well as the style and decor inside the room and the hallways. Everything was clean, cool looking and beyond our expectations. The one and only downside was the uncomfortable mattress. Everything else was amazing, and you are truly in the center of town!

Loved staying at the LOFTS. Yes, it was noisy at night, but with putting fan on it did a good job drowning out the noise. Great location for walking to restaurants and hiking trails. Parking is kind of a pain, but manageable.

In the middle of everything. Felt like your own swanking apartment in the city. Very hip and fun accommodations. Could not have a better location. Super easy. Definitely will return.

Great, near perfect
I wish the original Slo brew restaurant and brewery were still downstairs. We also wish that there was a better coffee maker in the room, as well as a microwave, any microwave would’ve been good. Lastly, we were on the street side so we had bar noise until late, late evening, all to wake up at 6 AM to traffic noise and we’re thinking some type of leaf blower or power washer in the morning. If we didn’t have the noise, we would’ve had a restful evening.

Hi Charlotte, Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. The SLO Brew location restaurant downstairs has transitioned into the Whiskey Lounge at the Carrisa, and we're open on the weekends for live jazz music, craft cocktails and light bites. So sorry, that you were not able to experience this during your visit. We provide the Nespresso machine rather than coffee for a more upscale coffee experience :) We'll pass along the feedback about the microwave to the owners, although they were specifically designed without one, and do understand this can cause an inconvenience. Yes, we sure are in the heart of the Entertainment District of Downtown SLO, which provides our guests front-row to all the nightlife. We would be happy to take this concern into consideration for your next stay with us; please give us a call to discuss available options as we are always happy to advise what the best available accommodations are for our guests! We hope to have you back again one day. Cheers!

We went to celebrate our daughters 21st birthday. This place was an excellent location! The Cast Away was perfect! The loft had everything one could need. The room, lobby, and hallway were beautifully appointed. We brought our dog, and out back there’s a lawn (across the creek) for pet bathroom purposes. Because it’s downtown, you will hear the nightlife. This didn’t bother us at all. We cannot wait to stay here again!

Modern, upscale, comfy, and clean! However, stating that parking comes with the loft is a false advertisement and unacceptable. Parking is not convenient for check-in. There is a voucher for 1 public unsecured parking garage 3 blocks away, but you can't get the vouchers until you first play musical chairs with all the cars using the PUBLIC loading zone that is needed for you to park and unload your luggage. Because it's public parking spots on the main downtown street, you cannot guarantee their availability. We drove around the block several times waiting for them to become avail. so that we could drop off our luggage. Having a dinner reservation at 6:15pm, we could no longer drive around, so we parked in the commercial zone next to the loading zone. We literally took our luggage up to the room and came back down because we had dinner in 15 mins. We both rcv'd parking tickets for $53 at 5:49pm despite free parking starting at 6pm bc we couldn't circle the block anymore. We had the same issue checking out when trying to load our cars. The lofts are LOUD!! We couldn't sleep until after 2am on a Wednesday & Thursday!! Drunk college kids were hanging out in front of the entry door when we came back from dinner, which made 2 women uncomfortable. 6am commercial street cleaning etc is even louder. There is no insulation, triple pane windows, and no reprieve from the loud commercial noise. Also didn't like being contacted for credit card info, despite booking through Expedia.

don’t do it. this is your warning
absolutely horrible. the room was disgusting with stains all over the couch, chairs, and curtains. the NOISE was miserable. If you want to sleep, you won’t here. i felt like i was in the bar/club below since my room was shaking from the base and it didn’t stop until after 2am. then you’re hearing drunk people outside all night. can you give zero stars??

SLO Brew Lofts are in an amazing location in downtown San Luis Obispo. The self check-in is incredibly convenience. We loved the stylish and spacious living area. The kitchen was clean and provided the amenities to prepare simple meals. The beds were comfy too! I would love to return!

The property was very clean and new with a old world feel. It is as they warn you about very loud till 2am. The location worked great for us. My daughters wedding was around the corner and the wedding party all stayed there also. So we didn't mind the noise

It was a great in-town location and a gorgeous place. However, the unit we were in fronted Higuera street which was very loud with nightlife noise until about 1 am

Amazing location with lively nightlife
The place looks amazing, modern, and conveniently located at the heart of SLO. The noise fro. The nearby bars won't subside until 2 am, but the master bedroom room is relatively quiet.

Centrally located. Stayed with family and was concerned it might be noisy but with the bar closures it was peaceful and still centrally located. Felt like a cozy modern home. Left some items and they sent them back same day. Great service!!

Amazing stay! This was my second time staying at the lofts and everyone raved about the decor, how insanely comfortable the beds were, and the layout! Location cannot be beat and every person I coordinated with at the lofts was great. 10/10 would stay here again!

We loved everything about this stay! Great location, beautiful space, perfect amenities. They were very upfront that it can be loud at night, but ear plugs are in the night stands. Can’t wait to return!

Great Apartment, Great Location, Lots of noise
The place was perfect, but as described the loud noise doesn't make this the ideal place for a family vacation with little ones that go to bed at exactly the same time the crowd and music start roaring. Also the sofabed is comfortable, but there needs to be curtains in the kitchen to make it more accommodating. The location is ideal, right in the middle of downtown, the apartment is spacious and has plenty of entertainment with an apple tv, poker chips, chess, and more. It was a touch decision to stay inside or go explore downtown.

The unit was well appointed and had almost everything one would need. Decor was modern and well done. My one suggestion would be to have additional towel hooks in bathroom as well as a small table adjacent to sink so guests have a place for their toiletries. We would definitely recommend lofts to others.

Its a great place to stay but don't stay here if you don't like loud thumping music and a bunch of screaming college kids. Bars start thumping at 10pm and go until 2am and it does get loud.

It was such a cool experience to stay here! I loved the location and the urban loft design. It’s also within walking distance to so many shops and restaurants. My only issue with our stay was that the mattress is too soft and hurt my back a bit. I wish they had firmer mattresses. But, otherwise my family and I had an awesome experience!

Hello, Yes, there is a nightclub below our facility, and we do our best to make this as apparent as possible. On Expedia, it can be found under the policies and check-in information, as follows: "This property is located in an urban setting, and sits above a brewery and concert venue. Guests should expect a high level of noise until 2 AM nightly. Additionally, noise from city maintenance can occasionally be heard during early mornings. For details, please contact the office using the contact information found on the confirmation received after booking."
