Relaxing and Inviting Home, 2 Prime Suites, seasonally heated pool on 2.5 acre.

We welcome weekly and monthly guests, October through May. Pool is heated in June, July, August and September as weather permits, Intellichem monitors pool while guests are staying. Great family gathering place for multiple generations. Large Prime Suite with walk in closets and bathroom with dual head showers. Smaller 2nd Prime Suite with attached bathroom. Both Prime Bedrooms, Living Room and Game Room open up to backyard pool. Open floor plan in Kitchen and Living Room. Separate Dining Room with open arches into Game Room. Hardwood floors in living areas and carpet in the Bedrooms. The back patio is great for BBQing and the night sky is perfect for stargazing.
There are many local Wineries, Breweries, Eateries, Hiking Trails and Biking Trails.
San Luis Obispo, Avila Beach, Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, Cayucos, Cambria and Paso Robles are nearby.
We are located:
9.3 miles to Oyster Ridge Wedding Venue.
15 miles to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo,
27 miles to Pismo Beach, 24.4 miles to Avila Beach and 22 miles to Morro Bay. Check out the Avila Valley Barn.
46 miles up the scenic coastline will bring you to Hearst Castle.
23 miles is The Sensario Light show in Paso.
36 miles to the Cambria Christmas Market.
49 miles to Hearst Castle. Reservations required.

Check out The Haunt for a good scare, Santa Margarita Adventures for six distinct zip lines, Tin City for afternoon of entertainment, Tent City Beer, Dead Oak Brewery, Ancient Peaks Winery. You will find Vintage Cowboy Winery next to The Pozo Saloon for an afternoon of wine tasting and reminiscing. Three Bridges Oak Preserve Trailhead is 7.6 miles, Jim Green Trail Head is 6 miles away. Chalk Mountain Golf Course is 4.6 miles, Dairy Creek Golf course is 19.5 miles and the Morro Bay Golf Course is 26.5 miles.

We had a wonderful stay! It was a wonderful, private quiet retreat from the chaos of my daughter’s wedding. The pool was well used and all of their pool toys was a great addition. The home was clean and any issues that came up the homeowners were immediate to take care of.

Perfect property for a weekend getaway with friends. Complete with pool toys and SO MANY umbrellas made the heat bearable and kept us sunburn free. Very well stocked kitchen left us wanting for nothing. No notes.

Wonderful mid-July Week in Central California

We selected the central California coast as the site for a week-long family get together, and boy, are we glad we did. Not only was there so much to do and the weather wonderful but we really lucked out with a wonderful home rental. Dana’s place is spacious and well appointed throughout. We had decided to eat in most of our meals and the well appointed Kitchen made this not only possible but easy. We did run into trouble with nonfunctioning ovens but our host immediately responded and gave us alternatives. Communication throughout was not only prompt, but always very clear. We enjoyed being able to live indoors and outdoors, the beautiful countryside, and the peaceful and private nature of our accommodations. However, be warned. The rooster crowing in the morning, while charming at first, became a regular thing. The opportunity for the walks in the neighborhood through quiet and peaceful lanes more than made up for the insistent bird.

The perfect VRBO!!

My family and I were lucky enough to stumble upon this VRBO for my son‘s graduation from Cal Poly! From the minute we walked in we had absolutely everything we needed. The house far exceeded our expectations. The pictures definitely cannot do this home justice as it is perfectly appointed with space for everyone in your party to find privacy if they want it or join together in the wonderful common spaces! The back patio and pool area are amazing… That is where we spent most of our time! The kitchen has everything you could need and more. Another great place to gather as it is spacious and comfortable. We will definitely come back given the opportunity! Thank you so much Dana. Your quick responsiveness and hospitality are above and beyond! Thank you so much for having us

Perfect Friend Reunion (lots of kids)

We stayed here for a second time because we loved it so much! We met here with four other families and had kids ranging from 10 months to 4 years old and this place was perfect. Well stocked, very clean, amazing pool and very comfortable rooms. It’s safe for babies and toddlers and fun for kids to play. We went to local winery’s and Brewerie, local Zoo and just had a blast.

Family Vacation

We stayed here as a central location to go to SLO, Cayucos, Morro Bay and Cambria as day trips. We were 4 adults, 4 tweens and a toddler. This is a great house for a group with 2 indoor seating areas plus the outside and large dining tables in & out. For the toddler, the patio is gated so he could not get to the pool alone - excellent for families with younger kids!! It's rural, so it was quiet with some farm animals around (awesome for morning walks) and a ton of stars at night. It was close to everywhere we wanted to go and on the "stay at home" days, the pool was heated perfectly, even for the toddler! All beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed to cook each meal. All in all, a great stay! We plan to come back!

Wonderful time !

What a great property with enough space to host my wife’s family for her 40th in wine country. Location was great and made access to wineries very easy. Pool was big enough to fit everyone. Kitchen was huge and well stocked. Would definitely rent again next time we do a trip to central coast.

Wonderful Stay

We met our family in San Luis Obispo and we had a total of 4 kids and 4 adults and Dana’s property was perfect for all of us! It was centrally location to everything in the area. The pool was wonderful and the kids really enjoyed it! We all had our own living quarters and it was perfect! Dana was so easy to communicate with and even gave us some great recommendations in the area! We will be booking this property again next year :)

Another wonderful stay!

Booked this for Cal Poly 2024 graduation and it was a fantastic trip. We played cards in the game room, had a catered dinner in the dining room, and the boys enjoyed the pool. Lots of room for family and friends, and the house is SO well-supplied. Quiet and peaceful, just a wonderful place to enjoy our graduation celebration. Dana, as always, was just such a great host/owner. Lots of communication, and she's always so patient with my questions. Thank you!

Thanksgiving

The kids (& the adults, too), really enjoyed seeing the Clydsdales, buffalo and horses in the neighborhood, and feeding the goats. Very friendly neighbors as well! Thank you, Dana, for rushing over to help us open the pool gate which we couldn't figure out without your help. Lovely home, area, weather! We had a very nice Thanksgiving, thank you!

Fantastic stay

Dana’s house is amazing! We had 4 couples and 3 kids and there was plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything necessary to make large meals. The pool is huge and there were lots of toys to keep the kids entertained. Everything was just perfect.

Family Reunion

The room called a Front Bedroom does not have a closet or easy access to a full bathroom. This should be more clearly stated. Other than that this property was everything we hoped for. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes for our group of 10 adults. The pool is clean and was perfect for the hot afternoons. Thanks for a great stay.

A wonderful time at a great place

We stayed at this house for the wedding of our daughter. This house was everything that we expected from the description. It was comfortable, clean and very functional. The beds and the furniture are good and the house has all the accommodations for a large group of people. The pool and outdoor seating area is very enjoyable and made this place even more special.

Summer Family Gathering

Our children & their respective families traveled from NorCal & SoCal to join us for a 'second annual' summer retreat - this year in the SLO/Paso Robles area of Central CA. And what a place a we found, nestled in the foothills of Santa Margarita, this special VRBO was literally a 'gem' within a 'rock pile' of vacation rentals. The home is large, spacious & a perfect setting for 3 families, including 6 adults and 4 active children, ages 4-11. This home had it all - large, fully-furnished kitchen with an open concept to family room. Everything you can imagine needed for meal/party preparation - this one has it - including a pantry with cooking and appliance necessities for any kitchen aficionado.The home has 5 beautifully accented bedrooms, 2 large master on-suites, 2 that share a Jack/Jill style bathroom & 1 separate 'overflow bedroom - all accompanied with King/Queen bedding, pillows, blankets & ceiling fans. AC makes this a perfect spot for the summer months as well. A 'safe & gated' pool with spacious patio & deck area help make this VRBO the 'home run' it already is. Several umbrellas scattered around the pool deck, large gas grill, ample seating & large pool floats for the kids & adults make this the perfect spot for large families to enjoy. Our kids couldn't get enough of the pool. Out in front, the home features a 3-car garage & gated area safe for children to play. In short, this home is clean, extremely well cared for & fit to make any family gathering a great choice!

Perfect weekend

This home was wonderful! Dana was extremely responsive and made the stay that much better. The home was spacious, with plenty of beds for all our guests, and had plenty of amenities. The pool was ab added bonus. Close to both Paso and SLO, it was perfect for a getaway weekend with friends.
