"Excellent location. Other reviews are accurate. However, There are two locations for this hotel. one is near the main road - that is where the pool is and it is a small pool so we didn't end up using it. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the beach area which was as advertised. Excellent breakfast included. Staff were great. It is a small town so easy access to everything."

"This place was clean, had everything we needed, felt safe and homey, and the beach access was fantastic. Rustic, gorgeous, and friendly. Would recommend to friends and will come back. ps- there are more amenities than one can infer from listing: the kitchenette is in the unit and there's a big fridge in the unit with ice trays. "It is true this is off the beaten track and very quiet except the dogs barking at 3am. Unfortunately when we arrived the bed was crawling with ants. there were 2 holes in the wall that the ants were crawling out of. The property manager's solution was to use a can of raid and duck tape the holes. We had booked for 5 nights but left after 1 night. We found much more comfortable accommodations in Tamarindo. The pictures on the website are not an accurate reflection of the current place. There are...
