We stayed for 4 nights. The bed and room were clean and comfortable. The TV was nice and worked great with Netflix and other apps. Great air conditioning. The front desk agents were nice and easy to reach. Free parking was appreciated.
Those are the only positives I can come up with.
There isn't hot water in the showers. It gets like room temperature at best. I complained to the front desk but they just told me to let it run for a long time to see if it would get hot. It never did. They did offer to send up a maintenance person, and I let them try to fix it one time. No improvement. Based upon the number of reviews that say there's no hot water, I'm pretty sure they can't do anything and it's actually just a problem with the way that the solar hot water system is set up. Unacceptable for the price of the hotel room.
The hotel is next to a night club so you can hear loud music and people yelling until early morning hours on the weekend.
The Wi-Fi is slow and unreliable.
It's in a pretty bad location, too. For one, there really isn't anything to do in the area. There are a couple restaurants, but those that are open have very limited hours. Additionally, the area seems to be a bit unsafe. I'm not just saying that as a sheltered American, some of the locals we spoke to said to be careful because we were staying in an unsafe area. The rooms themselves are behind a locked gate and a locked door to get into the building, so that helped us feel safe in our hotel room.
