Beach + Ocean Park + Parking + Ocean and City View

Our private apartment we call `Starfish by the Sea` is a recently remodeled, crisp and clean 8th floor studio apartment for 2 with 1 Queen bed and a full bathroom, as well as fully stocked kitchen. Come and stay at our wonderful ocean retreat and enjoy the warm ocean breeze from the balcony with views of the ocean, beach and the city. (please note the building is not beachfront, it`s beach block. The apartment is on the side of the building.) At night, enjoy the incredible ocean views from the rooftop. One of only a few buildings in the gated community of Ocean Park, a tranquil, residential area with many beachfront houses. We provide bathroom amenities, all linens and towels, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. You`ll be able to walk to the beach in minutes! The apartment is fully air conditioned and provides High-Speed WIFI, Streaming TV, beach chairs and beach towels. Gated, unassigned parking is included, and you will have access to the 8th floor laundry room. Self check-in with lockbox is provided for your convenience. Ocean Park is one of the best spots to relax by the beach, be near the city and between the nightlife areas of Isla Verde and Condado. You will be a couple of blocks away from the hip area of Calle Loiza filled with up and coming restaurants and bars. Uber or taxi anywhere in minutes, or walk to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, mini markets and enjoy the area on foot. You will be staying in a gated neighborhood, which is very safe and tranquil.

Our goal is to provide a seamless vacation. We are nearby and attend to our guests personally.

You will have your own studio apartment on the 8th floor, access to the 8th floor laundry room and gated, unassigned parking for one car.

We are local and only a phone call away

Ocean Park Beach is a favorite spot for locals in San Juan and gaining popularity among tourists. The young locals like to refer to it as “Ocean”. The wide mile-long beach is framed by a few shaded spots with palm trees along the way, residential condominiums, private residences, vacation rentals, restaurants, and a few boutique hotels, small inns, and guesthouses.
Ocean Park has a very casual, low-key vibe. Even during the high tourist season, you will find the beach to be pretty relaxed and uncrowded. Ocean Park Beach is on the Atlantic Ocean side featuring pretty blues from deep navy blues to aquamarine. The sand is golden, soft, and light.

During the weekday mornings, the scene is relaxed and uncrowded perfect for a relaxing long walk. During the summer months and weekends, it gets much busier. If you dislike crowded spaces, avoid visiting on holiday weekends.

Public transportation is not regular, but you can get an Uber or taxi in minutes. You can walk to restaurants, mini markets, fast foods and enjoy the city. You will be staying at a gated housing area, which is very safe and tranquil.
KASA House Rules and Policies:
Welcome to KASA! We’re excited to host you and want to ensure you have a fantastic stay. Here are a few important guidelines to help make your experience enjoyable and avoid any misunderstandings.

In order receive detailed self-check in instructions, the guest is required to upload a photo government ID of every guest staying at the property as well as phone number and email for each party.
The individual who makes the reservation must be the registered guest, be at least 25 years old. We kindly ask guests to use the property as a vacation rental, adhering to all applicable laws. Only the confirmed number of guests listed in the reservation are allowed in the unit. We kindly as our guests to maintain a peaceful environment, ensuring that noise or disturbances do not disturb nearby property owners. Any disruptive behavior in the unit or common areas may lead to the immediate eviction from the premises, and unfortunately, no refunds will be offered. Guests will also be responsible for any fines incurred due to inappropriate behavior while on the property.
Check-in is available any time after 3 PM, and we kindly ask that you check out by 11 AM. Special arrangements, if possible, may be made in advance by contacting KASA.
We want to maintain a peaceful environment, so parties or events are not permitted unless specifically approved in advance.
For the comfort of all our guests, smoking or vaping products are not allowed in the property. A fee of $500 will be incurred if this policy is not followed.

In the event that you misplace any items, please note the following fees:
$75 for lost keys
$50 for lost or damaged TV remote or AC/FAN remote
$60 for lost or damaged parking remote.
As your host during this short-term stay, we retain the right to cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances. If that happens, we will strive to provide similar accommodation or offer a full refund or credit for a future visit.
Please be aware that our cancellation policy varies based on the booking. You can find the specific terms associated with your reservation on the booking platform used. Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method within ten business days.
If you`ve been approved to bring a pet, an additional $250 damage deposit will apply.
If you do not check in for your reservation, without prior notice, the entire cost of the stay will be charged, and no refunds will be issued.
Regarding utility outages, please note that if they occur due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to provide refunds or compensation unless the outage lasts more than 24 hours. In such cases, any compensation will be determined at the host`s discretion. For any issues related to Wi-Fi outages, we will do everything possible to have services restored by the provider, however, we regret that no refunds can be issued.
If guests leave personal items behind, we will make every reasonable effort to return them after contacting the guest. However, if these items remain unclaimed for 30 days, they will become the property of the host, who cannot be held responsible for their condition.
We also want to clarify that no refunds can be granted for shortened stays due to adverse weather, personal emergencies, or other commitments.
Please be aware that KASA cannot accept responsibility for any damages to vehicles parked on the property.
We understand that weather can be a concern when traveling to a tropical island. Our hurricane and storm policy are designed to be clear and fair. Refunds will only be issued if the National Weather Service declares a mandatory evacuation for our location. In such a case, we`ll refund the unused portion of your current booking, or any reservation scheduled to begin during the mandatory evacuation period, starting from the day the order is given. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for regular rain or tropical storms, as these are part of the natural climate here. However, we`re happy to work with you to reschedule your cancelled vacation based on our availability.
LIABILITY WAIVER: KASA Vacation Rentals is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items that belong to guests. This includes losses from natural events such as floods, storms, or other `Acts of Nature.` Additionally, for incidents like fire, water issues, power outages beyond our control, or disruptions caused by service providers, KASA cannot be held responsible for any additional costs or losses incurred by the guest.
To ensure a pleasant stay for all, it`s essential to adhere to these guidelines, along with property and public health regulations. Noncompliance may result in early termination of the reservation without a refund. Guests agree to cover any reasonable costs, including attorney fees, incurred by the owner in enforcing this agreement.

Great beachside location, quiet residential neighborhood

One block from the Ocean Park beach, with cute balcony for coffee or a cocktail. Nice size studio for two people with standard stocked kitchenette. Easy checkin and good communication. Has everything you need for a DIY beach day - chairs, towels, cooler. This end of the beach is lovely, more chill. (We didn't want to stay in touristy/busier Condado.) Numero Uno hotel bar is a 5-10 min walk but has a minimum pp to use the loungers. Ubers are pretty cheap in SJ, heads up neighborhood is "gated" so at night cabs/Ubers/if driving you need to go through the main gate. it's easy in/easy out but be aware/specific when calling an Uber after 6pm as the pedestrain gates are locked too. Lovely, safe, quiet area. Good bars, restaurants (Kasalta!), coffee and breakfast, Walgreens, bodegas all near by. Only neg thing could say is the mattress and some of the furniture could use an upgrade. Good stay, recommend esp for location and price!

Very nice apartment close to the beach

My girlfriend and I had the pleasure to stay in this nice apartment a couple of months ago. The apartment is located very close to the beach in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The beach is less than a minute walk away and stores/restaurants are about a ten-minute walk or a short uber/scooter ride. The apartment was very clean with a balcony view of the neighborhood and ocean/beach views. There is also roof top access for a 360 degree view of the area. In addition, the host was very accommodating and check-in and out was simple. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Great Views

Nice apartment/studio with a short walk to the beach. Good restaurants within walking distance and plenty safe. We had a car but not really needed though parking is plentiful. I’d return.

Paradise!

Perfect location with awesome views from the balcony and rooftop. Condo was nice and clean. Short walks to the grocery store and the strip. Getting to the beach was only a 2 min walk! We experienced NYE from the rooftop and it was AMAZING. Never seen anything like it. Peter was a great host and very accommodating! We look forward to coming back.

Beautiful Place & Safe Area

The property was great and had everything you need. I would recommend anyone to stop at a supermarket or walmart when you leave the airport to get some food/drinks to make because there is a kitchen and fridge to cook, will deff save you money. Unit was clean and updated, although we did notice a small issue with Ants when you enter and we did get a few in the kitchen. Otherwise everything was great and i would recommend to stay! Thank you.

Lovely beach vacation spot for the holidays

Stayed here because in-laws have a place in the same building. Safe. Beautiful views of the water out the front and back windows. Front door was gated and back sliders are always open to allow the island breezes to cool the rooms. Perfect amount of space. Styled quite lovely. Wished I could have had a broom to sweep up the sand I brought in from the beach... TV trouble but property manager came to fix it. Fresh towels delivered upon request. 11 days of rest and relaxation in a welcoming space. Would love to stay again.

Stars for Starfish

A very pleasant stay in Ocean Park. The studio is well-configured and equipped, and there are ocean views from the balcony and the entrance door. The was always a breeze on the balcony to complement the view, ideal for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the afternoon. The studios eighth floor location also offered panoramic views of the city and El Yunque. After the third day, the studio was discreetly refreshed, as advertised. All was quaint and quiet. Had a bit of difficulty operating the key box on arrival. The owner is replacing it with a better model. There was only one set of keys available, which made it a bit cumbersome when our two schedules did not coincide. The building's entrance key did not work reliably, but Peter stopped by and did his best. Overall, just a minor inconvenience that did not detract from a very delightful stay.
