The Space:

Blue View Villa is a thoughtfully designed apartment in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico! This second-floor haven features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a scenic terrace with views of the lush greenery and the ocean. This charming apartment welcomes you with a bright and airy atmosphere, creating a perfect blend of modern comfort and tranquility. This property includes 2 parking spaces.



Blue View Villa is a short drive away from El Yunque Rainforest, some of the best beaches, and tours the island has to offer.



Please note the property does not have an elevator. Guests have to walk up 2 flights of stairs to access the villa.





LIVING AREAS



Enter Blue View Villa, and you are greeted by a modern and thoughtfully designed living and dining area. The living room embodies simplicity and lightness, creating a serene atmosphere that seamlessly blends with the coastal surroundings.



The space features a flat-screen TV, L-shaped sofa, and a 6-person dining table at the far end, leading out to the oceanfront balcony — the perfect spot to enjoy the refreshing sea breeze and your morning coffee. Please note that the living area DOES NOT have air conditioning, but the natural ocean breeze keeps the space comfortable most of the day.



The balcony offers a relaxing setup with a comfortable sofa and a table for two, ideal for unwinding with stunning ocean views. Adjacent to the living area, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare your favorite meals.





SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS



Blue View Villa comfortably sleeps 9 guests across 3 full-size bedrooms, all equipped with air conditioning for your comfort.



The Master Bedroom features a queen-size bed, a twin bed with trundle, access to the oceanfront balcony, a private ensuite bathroom, a flat-screen TV, and beautiful views of the tropical vegetation and ocean.



The second bedroom includes a queen bed, while the third bedroom offers a bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom and a twin on top. These two bedrooms conveniently share a full bathroom that includes a bathtub and shower combination.



PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):



We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.





KITCHEN



Blue View Villa has a modern and fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, stovetop, oven, blender, coffee maker, and toaster oven. It offers views and access to the balcony, which you can open to allow the fresh tropical breeze in.



The dining table, which seats 6, is conveniently located beside the kitchen so cooking and dining can become one social event.





GETTING AROUND & PARKING



Blue View Villa includes two (2) parking spots.



Renting a car is a must when staying in Rio Grande as Ubers and taxis are not readily available in this area.



There are many activities within 15-30 minutes of driving distance and the roads are easy to navigate.





LOCATION



There are many things to do in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. Here are our top picks which you will be sure to enjoy during your stay:



Explore the lush and exotic El Yunque, the only rainforest under US Flagship. We can help you plan a hike or participate in a zip-line adventure.



Experience the glowing waters on a night kayak tour in the bioluminescent bay in Fajardo.



Taste the local flavors at the staple kiosks in nearby Luquillo – right next to the beach.



Go on horseback or a four-track ride off the beaten path in Carabali Rainforest Park.



Play a round of golf at the Wyndham Rio Mar Golf Course or any of the neighboring nearby courses like Bahia Beach Resort & Golf Club in Rio Grande or El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo.

STARTER AMENITIES



At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.



All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach towel per guest.



We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:



- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)

- 3 garbage bags

- 1 roll of paper towels

- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)

- 1 dish soap

- 1 dish sponge



Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.



Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.





HOUSE RULES



RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.



NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.



NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.



QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.



UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.



MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 9 adults/children at all times, including visitors.



OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.



TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.



TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.



SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.





CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES



Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.



If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.



If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.



Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.





TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON



We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.



Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
