The owner greeted us with a beautifully set table with a fresh loaf of bread, butter and an assortment of tees and fresh coffee. They assisted us with information to local stores and restaurants. The house looks just as shown on their site. It is located in the highlands approx 40 min drive from the airport, in a quiet neighbourhood. The house is equipped with everything to make the stay worry free. The instructions offered by the owner were precise and complete. The kitchen and livingroom are nicely appointed with a working wood burning fireplace that may be needed on the occasional cool nigh. Be mindful that the house is located at an elevation of 1840 meters. We used this location as a midpoint for visiting the Poas volcano and La Paz Waterfall and the Irazu Volcano in the opposite direction. There is a very large bedroom with bathroom on the main floor and two bedrooms and washroom on the upper level. There is a third washroom on the main level. All bedrooms have large windows with Costa Rican views. The entire house was spotless. A maid service is available for laundry. We had a nice stay and would not hesitate to return.
