The Home 🏡

Welcome to Taylor's Townhome! This beautifully remodeled 4-bedroom, 3-bath condo underwent a complete transformation from January to June 2020, offering all-new furniture, mattresses, and linens. The front of the townhome is made entirely of glass on both levels, with a large sliding glass door in the living room and floor-to-ceiling windows in the master bedroom to showcase the stunning views of Santa Barbara Cove and Mission Bay. Inside, you'll find a contemporary, beachy décor, with new vinyl plank flooring that mirrors the look of driftwood, and all rooms come equipped with mini split AC units, so guests can control the temperature in their own space. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and a beautiful tile backsplash, perfect for preparing meals. Ideal for families and groups, this condo accommodates up to 10 guests with comfortable sleeping arrangements. There is also a full-size stacked washer/dryer for added convenience.

Taylor's Townhome offers an array of entertainment options to keep everyone engaged. Each room is equipped with flat-screen TVs featuring digital HD cable and streaming capabilities, and high-speed internet is available throughout the condo. On the first level, the living room-dining room combination provides a fantastic view of Mission Bay, along with an Olympic-sized sofa bed and two comfortable rocking, swiveling chairs. The beachy, contemporary décor creates a cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Outside, enjoy evenings on your private balcony with seating for four and a small electric BBQ for grilling while taking in the bay views. The condo also offers two dining tables, seating 6 and 4, for shared meals or gatherings.

Located in a prime spot, Taylor's Townhome is within easy walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and just minutes away from Belmont Amusement Park. The sand and boardwalk are directly below the balcony—simply walk downstairs, and your toes are in the sand! Mission Bay Park, the largest aquatic park of its kind in the country, spans over 4,235 acres, offering 27 miles of shoreline and 19 sandy beaches, with eight designated swimming areas. Experience the Southern California lifestyle by enjoying the vibrant outdoor environment, from the sandy beaches to the scenic bay. If you're looking for parking, there's a single carport that accommodates two small cars or one large SUV, plus additional free public parking just a 3-minute walk away at El Carmel Street on the bayside.

Policies & What to Expect

Arrival/Departure Policy:
Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, check-in is at 4pm)
Check out time is 11 am.
Please follow all instructions for your arrival and departure in our email and phone call correspondence. There is signage around the home to assist with the use of amenities and questions that you may have during your stay. We are available too, even after hours-give us a call!

Nightly Minimum Policy:
4 night minimum required in the off season.
6 nights AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option.
(Please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!)

☀️ Holiday 2025 Policy:
6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 20-January 3). One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day.
*An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!

☀️ Summer 2025 Policy:
Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturday to Saturday is required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2025, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you.

Last Minute Booking Policy:
If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy.

To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest's face and holding either a Driver's License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.

This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.

Rate Policy: Prices change on a daily basis so the rates you see today may be higher or lower when booking!

Age Policy: We do not typically rent to guests under the age of 25 or large parties. Please contact us prior to booking to see how we may accommodate your group.

After booking:
We manage properties on behalf of our owners. Upon confirming your booking, we will send you a rental agreement for your upcoming stay which you will need to complete. This agreement reviews our terms and conditions, house rules and policies, and what to expect of your stay. We will also contact you within 24 hours of the booking to obtain contact information and to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your upcoming visit. The check-in details will not be shared until the rental agreement has been signed, payment has been made, and the guest has connected with one of our guest services agents.

In addition to completing our electronic rental agreement, you will also be required to participate in our identity verification process. The Verify Hub service is offered through Autohost; an intelligent guest screening software that automates ID verifications, background and credit checks, security deposits and more, helping to improve guest experience and safety. Please note: for the credit card verification, a $2 hold will be placed on the card to run the report. This hold will never process and will fall off automatically within 7 days.

Property Appearance:
Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed)

Property Responsibilities:
If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.

With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management, Replacement of keys/fobs/remotes, and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and our business unlike any other!

Many buildings are also managed by HOAs who will fine guests for misconduct.

Noise:
This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about your home!

Starter Kit/Guest Essentials:
We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a 'starter kit' to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store. Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and co2/fire detectors.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The nicely updated townhouse was just the right size for our party of 8. All the beds were very comfortable. We had all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay. The location is great and centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit. We really enjoyed walks on both the bayside and the oceanside. We would be happy to stay again!

Taylors townhouse was amazing! We were a large family group and there was space for everyone. The views of Mission Bay from the townhouse are spectacular. Great restaurants within walking distance. Our granddaughters loved the beaches. Check-in was easy and communication with the rental company was great. We are already planning to return soon.

This was our favorite place that we've stayed in San Diego. Perfect location, close to so many places to eat! We rented bikes and enjoyed going to the front of the unit, getting on the bike path, and enjoying the view! Speaking of view, the view from the living area and the master bedroom was amazing! We all had our own full bathroom. Everything was updated with beautiful art and furnishings. Extremely clean! We will make this our go to place the next time our whole family comes to San Diego!

I stayed here with 6 other family members. Everyone gathered for a for a wedding at a venue close bay. The property was as advertised, very clean and the decor was beautiful. There was a problem with one of the sinks but The mangers of the property were quick to start the repair and even when it required a special part, they were respectful of our needs and worked with us to make sure it did not interrupt our stay. Location could not be better. Close to so many things and the bay side view was wonderful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Location was nice. Property was nice. A few flaws here and there which was fine. Everything was functional. The cooking items could use an update. The pans were a little rusted. The views were really nice and the kids loved playing in the sandy areas. Location was great to get to the zoo and sea world. Was overall a great stay.

Clean, comfortable, stylish. Everything at the property was just as pictured and perfectly maintained. Nice location on quiet side of Mission Bay, short walk to Pacific beach and boardwalk. Conveniently located to downtown San Diego, zoo, airport, etc. We had one issue on checkin with the door code, but the staff at Nancy's Vacation Rentals were helpful. Parking is a bit tight for larger vehicles but we managed with a mini van. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, perfect location for a larger active family on spring break. We would happily return!

Very easy check-in and out! Managers provide great instructions. The calmness and view of the Bayside was amazing. Very short walking distance to the ocean beachside! Make sure to discover the area for their are a lot of restaurants within walking distance! Belmont Park is a short walk! The house itself has good flow! Bedrooms are good size and beds are very comfortable! Kitchen is well equipment for meals. We did not try to use it to much but the wifi network that was provided was not an option on any devices. Our Ford Explore was tough to park when the other unit was occupied. Overall great unit and would highly recommend to anyone looking.

We (6 adults/ 2 children) spent a week here. There was enough space that we were not cramped. We had a few hiccups (primarily with hot water) but overall a wonderful visit. The location was wonderful. It had beautiful views of the bay, and a short (2 blocks) walk to the ocean side. We were also very close to other attractions (Sea World, USS Midway, Safari Park, airport). I would recommend this unit.

This place - on the shore of the bay and only a couple blocks from the ocean - was phenomenal for a long weekend getaway. Tons of space, amenities, and great help from the hosts meant we could relax without worrying about the details. Would definitely stay again.

The stay was great from start to end. The management company was in concraft with me the entire time to make sure everything was going smoothly. They had plenty of towels and beach towels. Each room having its own AC was so nice as well. The views are beautiful and a very short walk to the beach side of wanting to go there. We will definitely be staying again! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Taylor’s Townhouse on the Bay in Mission Bay, San Diego. This location was clean & supplied with all the comforts of home. It’s close to restaurants & Belmont Park rides & attractions. .

We booked this road trip in lieu of a trip to Mexico as the airline policies had recently tightened. We were not disappointed. The bay is much warmer than the ocean beach, real-feel with the ocean wind was 10-15 degrees, this was good since the highs were in the low 60s all week. the bay was right outside the front door, and the beach was only a 5 minute walk. The unit is pretty amazing. every bed was comfy and the pillows were marvelous. The kitchen was well stocked, it even included a crock pot. The bathrooms were also well stocked. 2 cautions, i would give, do not enter your amazon prime video account and not delete it when leaving, somebody of lesser morals could have watched pay movies on a previous guests account. Also, the lock that secures the beach stuff outside didn't open, the code had been left from a previous renter which leads me to believe they couldn't get into it either. It wasn't a big deal, there was a boogie board in the unit. Overall the property was great and the manager was responsive, i went to the wrong door originally and couldn't get into the unit, a quick call to the management company and i was in the unit. Would, for sure, stay here again.
