Host was amazing. House was beautiful. Neighborhood was great and there were so many great bars and restaurants in the general area. The house has so much history and on top of that, the space we were in was so secluded and private. Hot tub was out of this world. 1000/10, would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay in Banker's Hill. Our one room apartment was clean and well maintained. I knew it would be a comfortable stay with the Nespresso machine, Charmin toilet paper, soft sheets and bath absorbent towels. The kitchen was well stocked and all the appliances were new. The hot tub was also very nice. Great location with easy walks to Balboa Part and Little Italy.The unit does not get much sun so it was a little damp and chilly. Also, there was some noise from the upstairs apartment's water pipes and heating unit, but not an issue. All homes and apartments in this area have some degree of airport noise.Our daughter lives nearby and mentioned that other of her friends had stayed in other units in this house and also thought highly of them.

Good spot

Cozy and very walkable. The planes and a buzzing/humming from one of the other units can get loud at night, but not so much that earplugs wouldn’t fix it.

Great Place To Stay!

I went for a work trip and this was exactly what I needed and more. The place was clean and spacious. The attached outdoor lounge area made for an added bonus and was extremely relaxing after a busy day. Could not recommend enough and plan to stay again if I’m back in San Diego!

Private

The exterior of the home is beautiful and the space inside was spacious and private. We enjoyed the private hot tub and the bed was very comfortable. Parking wasn’t terrible but we did have to drive around the adjacent blocks to find a spot. A night, we just ubered if we wanted to go so that we didn’t lose our spot. Overall, we had a very peaceful stay and would love to come back.

Walking distance from downtown

This place was amazing beautiful old building in the heart of San Diego. The hot tub was heavenly everything was clean and comfortable slept like a baby. Despite being in a building with other people it felt very private. Ricardo was an awesome host very helpful and accommodating he made the process very easy.

Wonderful place to stay

I was entirely satisfied with my choice to stay here, it was very clean and comfortable and exceeded all expectations. Ricardo was an absolutely wonderful host and provided detailed information about everything including local recommendations. I wish I could have stayed longer and I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful find

We stayed at this property during our weekend getaway. The place is perfect to relax and enjoy everything about San Diego. We really enjoyed the Hot tubs and the foosball. The Hot tub feels relaxing after a whole day of activity exploring San Diego. The Place is very clean and Rick is very responsive to all our questions.

Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay at Rick's property in San Diego! Beautiful historic home in San Diego renovated into vacation rentals. Went above and beyond with great amenities, comfortable furniture, and a modern style. Each unit has its own private hot tub, foosball table, BBQ and more. Easy walk to many great restaurants in the heart of the city. Dog friendly property in a neighborhood that's perfect to walk around in and offers some great views of downtown and the San Diego harbor. 5 minute drive to the airport. Rick is a great host and is very responsible to his guests. Excited to stay here again in the future!

Holiday Vacation

My fiancé and I had a wonderful time at this location! It was very clean and very comfortable! I gave it four stars because it can get a little loud due to other units being nearby and the planes from the airport. However, we were able to adjust to the noises fairly quick. If you are a light sleeper, I would suggest ear plugs. The location was amazing! We were close to everything! The owner was very helpful and responsive! He also supplied a list of some amazing restaurant recommendations!

Great Location, Great Host

Rick was very hospitable with very fast response times when we had questions and even offering a late checkout when we had an extremely minor issue with the WIFI password being different. Neighborhood was fantastic. Walking distance to bankers hill, Balboa Park and Little Italy. Highly Recommended.

Hidden Gem

I live locally and needed a place to stay last minute for the weekend due to my house being sold. That aside, I called Rick to expedite the process, and while on vacation with poor reception, he made it happen. He was very accommodating, kind and made sure everything went smoothly. It really makes the stay that much more enjoyable with a caring property manager. The place itself is really adorable and perfect for a little romantic getaway. The private yard is charming and quiet. It's clean, and the king bed was extremely comfortable as well. It's really close/walking distance to Little Italy. It took me less than 10 minutes to walk to Juniper & Ivy- a popular restaurant down there. I highly recommend this spot if you want privacy, but also want to be near everything San Diego has to offer. Two thumbs way up!

The perfect getaway!

My husband and I were desperate for a weekend getaway. It was our first one since the start of the pandemic, and our first family vacation with our 5.5 month old. We are so glad we went with this rental. It’s in the perfect location, it is clean, parking is typically easy to find, and Rick (the host) is the absolute best! He is very responsive and accommodating. This particular rental is great for two people, but I am looking forward to staying at one of Rick’s other properties in the future because it was a little tight with the pack n play for our baby, but we made it work. All in all, I was extremely pleased as this was our first time using Vrbo. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Perfect place for a quick getaway for a couple

This place was clean, new upgrades, perfect for a couple of 2 which we were. The outdoor area with spa was great for relaxing. The location was easy to find and parking was great for us. We would definitely come back!
