The house was a perfect location between the beach and the bay. Everyone had their own private area and then we could all come together to eat and hang out on the beautiful roof top deck. I will definitely be staying here again!

Walking distance to bay or ocean. Enjoyed it. A few minor quirks… bottom suite had deadbolt to lock people in? And it took a while to figure out pullout couch. The QR codes didn’t work. But overall, would rent again. Everything nice, clean, and we had a good time.

House was amazing and fit our family perfectly! The three levels was awesome; and gave everyone their own private space. The shower handle in the top floor bathroom broke and they were prompt to fix it! 1 minute walk to the bay and close to all necessary food / stores. Neighborhood was peaceful and no major noise. Beds were comfy and perfectly stoked with all bathroom toiletries. Check in was okay, we offered to pay a fee for early check in since we were traveling with an 82 year old and a 4 year old and they wouldn’t allow check in until 4 pm on the dot. So that was a bummer. There is also zero beach gear minus a few towels.

The property setup was great for our group of 6 but several bathroom fixtures fell off the walls and made 2 of the three showers unusable the first two days of our stay and one shower unusable the entire stay. The bathroom grout and shower curtains were moldy. The biggest issue was that the gas dryer was unvented. Had we started the dryer before bed, we would have died. The property managers were responsive via text and repairmen were in and out of the house our entire stay. The house was also extremely dusty and the area rugs need to be washed or replaced. It was probably a great property at some point but is in need of fresh paint, floor cleaning, and quality bathroom fixtures.

The size and location of this home is fabulous for a family of 6. Plenty of bed and bathroom space in addition to a lovely outdoor space. Access to beach toys and towels was a plus. Parking is a little tricky in the small space, and we found backing in was easiest. Easy walk to coffee, food and the beach. My biggest complaint is that the home just didn’t feel clean. Surfaces were clean but floors were not. The AC units were covered in dust and the filters looked very dirty. Most alarming was that the bottom half of the primary bedroom sheets were covered with sand and hair. I attempted to wash the sheets but the washing machine was broken. I called the management company and was told a new washer was scheduled and would arrive by the end of day. No washer ever came and the management company just kept saying please be patient. By the end of our week, no washer had been delivered (and no message with updates). The laundromat on the corner was also closed so I had no way to wash anything. One of the reasons I had booked the house was because it had a washer and dryer, so this was quite frustrating and management did nothing to help.

We stayed her over the Christmas holiday with 5 adults - my parents (75ish), Daughter (25), Brother (40) & myself (40). Was a great spot with to relax with the family. Home had everything we could need! The only thing that was tricky was parking in the carport. My parents brought their Town & Country Van and it was tricky to maneuver in & out when we needed to leave. It took three of us just to guide it into one of the spots and it was probably the only space it would have fit. That being said I'm sure most people won't have a van or have trouble. The house is beautiful and worth that small hassle.

We are repeat visitors to San Diego, and this home is by far our favorite rental in 20 years. Location, layout of home, roof top deck, and upgraded furnishings. Loved every minute of our stay!
