The Home 🏡

Welcome to the newly remodeled Jamaica Beach Cottage, a cozy 2-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom beach retreat that blends classic craftsman architecture with modern touches. Perfect for couples or families, this hidden gem is just a 1-minute walk from Mission Beach and the boardwalk, and a 2-minute walk to Mission Bay. Enjoy the beach vibe with mornings on the outdoor deck featuring a fire pit, BBQ, and dining area, as well as sunning in chaise lounges. Inside, you’ll find a large kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and ceiling fans throughout. The home also has A/C to keep you comfortable on warmer days. For larger groups, there’s an additional property on the lot, Roswitha’s Hideaway, offering extra space.

Bedrooms
The Jamaica Beach Cottage features two beautifully appointed bedrooms with high-end linens and ceiling fans.
Queen Bedroom: This room offers a comfortable queen bed, a closet, and a convenient half bathroom.
Queen Bunkroom: This room has a queen bed on the bottom bunk and a twin XL bed on the top bunk, along with a small closet and clothes tree.

Bathrooms
Feel pampered in our well-appointed bathrooms, which include hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. A hair dryer is also provided for your convenience.

Master Bathroom: Walk-in shower
Guest Bathroom: Half bathroom with toilet

Kitchen
Our fully stocked kitchen will inspire your culinary skills, featuring all the essentials you need to make meals just like at home. It includes:
dishes, glassware, cutlery, mixing bowls, pots, and pans, blender, toaster, and two types of coffee machines

Living Room
Relax in the living room with original coved ceilings and a cozy fireplace. The perfect space for unwinding after a fun day at the beach. Includes a sleeper sofa for one more guest!

Outdoor Space
The spacious outdoor patio includes:
A large grill and fire pit
A dining table for up to 6 people
Comfortable lounge chairs
This space is ideal for enjoying meals outside with the sea breeze, playing games, or taking a post-beach nap in the loungers!

The area offers a variety of restaurants, bars, and fun activities at Belmont Park, such as rides, arcade games, and more. Enjoy water sports like jet skiing or renting a boat on Mission Bay. You’re also just a short drive from popular San Diego attractions such as SeaWorld (6 minutes), the San Diego Zoo (20 minutes), and Torrey Pines (30 minutes) for hiking or golf.

Parking: There’s a parking garage with 1 designated spot on the left side. Please note, guests do not have access to the right side garage.

Beach Accessories: Stored in the garage, you’ll find beach chairs, boogie boards, a beach umbrella, and sand toys. There’s also an outdoor shower and additional lounge cushions in the breezeway.

Upper Unit: An additional 2-bedroom, 1-bath unit is available on the second floor, perfect for larger groups or family gatherings.
Flexible Travel Plans: Enjoy the option of early check-in and late check-out for an additional fee, subject to availability.
