Steps away from Mission Beach, Mission Bay, and Starbucks. Fun for the entire family and stone’s throw from Belmont Park. Short ride from the airport and no need to drive anywhere during your entire stay. Full house with 2 car garage. Tandem garage, meaning one in front of the other. The backspace can hold a sedan in the front space can hold a medium size SUV as you can see from pictures.

we have one camera in the dining room that covers the two entrances only to watch for max number of guests. tampering w camera will terminate stay.

The Oasis is located close to the beach and the long walkway, and just far enough away to be quiet. Across the street is a lovely Italian restaurant for eat-in or takeout. Other restaurants, a Starbucks, and a gelato store are nearby. The host took care of our needs for additional kitchen items and linens in a timely manner.

Great location - to city outings and beach life

This place was perfect for our family of 5. Short drives to the places we planned to visit - Petco Park, Zoo, and Sesame Place. But best of all, it was easily walkable to the beach where we could spend our evenings to unwind. Due to flight delays, we arrived later than planned and we had a hard time finding the place in the dark. After we learned not to always trust the GPS to take us to the right alley, it became familiar but still tricky for DoorDash drivers to find as well. Overall, it had everything we needed, including beach toys and towels, and would gladly stay again.

Great Location to walk to beach, Belmont Park, restaurants and bars. House had everything you need even beach supplies. Large rooms, we never felt like we were on top of each other. The garage is a skinny tight squeeze, but doable.

Easy location in Mission Beach

Close to the livelier parts of Mission Beach. Walkable, location, modern and clean interior. If you have small children, there are two sets of stairs to be mindful of. Otherwise, well-equipped for families looking to play at the beach.

Excellent location and beautiful place. We had 7 family members and all fit comfortably. The reponse from the host was always quick and the place was very clean. We would definitely come back. While the garage is small, we were able to fit a Bronco Sport and small Hyundai SUV inside. Steps to the beach. Wonderful holiday!

Our stay was wonderful! Our travel group was two middle-aged adults, two young adults, and one teen. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out or come together for family movie night. The kitchen is stocked with essentials and very clean. The entire place was spotless! It is the BEST central location. We were just a couple of blocks from Belmont Park, Mission Beach, and Mission Bay. Plenty for our older kids to enjoy independently. The neighborhood was safe and family friendly with a few cute restaurants and shops that they could explore on their own. On the corner is coffee and also a great place to rent bikes or paddle boards. We saw groups with little ones, too, and this place would be perfect for a family with smaller kids, too, as there was a second bedroom upstairs near the master (third bedroom is on the main floor). Centrally located to Sea World, Del Mar, La Jolla, Coronado, SD Zoo and Balboa Park, Liberty Square Market, downtown San Diego, Ocean and Dog Beaches, and much more. We didn't travel more than 30 minutes in any direction to get to any of those places. George was a wonderful host!! The place is stocked with some beach essentials, including beach towels. We honestly didn't think the garage parking was that difficult (see other reviews). If you know how to use a back up camera and have a second person to guide the ship, you'll be fine. We had a Jeep Compass and it was no problem. Fantastic property- don't miss out.

Beach stay

The house was close to the beach, clean and comfortable. The parking was tight but we were able to park to smaller SUV’s into the garage. I wish they provided more towels but all in all a good stay.

Perfect house for our family

My family of five with three adult children fit fine. The brothers in a bunkbed and my daughter was happy with her own room and personal bathroom. The house worked excellent for our family. The location was great close to be here where other members of our family were staying

Close to the beach

The location was great, walking distance to the beach, Belmont Park and surfing rental stores. The biggest challenge was getting into the garage with the very small alley. We had a full sized van and pulling into the garage took about 10 minutes each time. If neighbors were double parked or sticking out of the parking sports, it was not possible to maneuver into it. This should be detailed better in the description. The second challenge was the sunlight in one of the bedrooms. The king bed room has an east facing sunlight that shines right on the bed around 0530. The room has an entire mirrored wall that would reflect the light back onto the bed. It was an early morning double whammy. The owner let us check in 90 minutes early. That was nice. Really great location, but those two situations were tricky.

Beach Fantastic getaway!

Location was incredible because you could walk to beach, boardwalk or bayside. Rooms were big, each with bathroom and great size closets. Best part was living room with open kitchen with plenty of room for our extended family and friends for meals. Do know stairs for two rooms/garage so luckily put grandma on first floor. Will visit again for sure!

Great Spot!

Was able to walk to the beach and the bay very easily. Nice and clean unit with everything we needed. Close to seaworld as well. Recommended! Note the parking is tight as the listing states.

Spacious Condo, Nice little neighborhood

Lots of room for the family to gather for fun or find a quiet spot away. This place had everything we needed and a really short walk for coffee, sushi, beaches, etc. The garage took patience parking the minivan, but we handled it and usually had neighbors cheering us on. We would love to come back.

Amazing Home Close to Beach

The photos and the description don’t do this place justice. This condo is literally across the street from the beach. It is spacious and updated and perfect for a family who wants to stay centrally located. Each room had its own bathroom and the tile in them was beautiful. Loved the kitchen/living room area where we could all be together while I cooked. The garage was great access from the beach to kick off all the sand. It’s too bad that the alleyway is too small for a Ford.F150 truck to pull into. The tandem garage is wide enough to fit. Just can’t get in because the alleyway is too small. I had to park at the marina down the road. Not a lot of public parking or street parking. That would be my only complaint. It was hard to leave and my kids can’t wait to go back and stay at the same place. To be able to walk to Belmont Park and all the restaurants close by and the beach daily was amazing. It was just what I wanted my family vaca to be. Thank you for the memories!

Spacious, updated and easy access to everything

We loved our stay at the Isthmus Oasis. The house was bigger than I had expected and my family of 7 had plenty of room to spread out and we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. There are only a few things I had needed that would have nice. More hooks around the house, including bedrooms and bathrooms. Beach visits make it so there are so many things to hang dry that hooks in every room, even in hallways for towels, would be nice. We made dinner at home a couple of times and I found it was a bit short on supplies. A vegetable pealer, cookie sheet and a few more plates and bowls would have helped us. Overall loved the place. Our Subaru Ascent fit just fine and we were able to pull the cargo box off the top and store in the garage. The codes all worked well and they accommodated us to come a bit early. There were buckets and shovels to use at the beach. It was wonderful having a washer and dryer. The TV worked well and we watched family movies every night. The couches weren't comfortable, but that made it so everyone was sure to sleep in their own beds. It was clean, bright, convenient to have AC (lots of San Diego units don't) but we loved opening the windows to enjoy the fresh air. I would definitely recommend staying here. I communicated a handful of times with the owners and they got back to me pretty quickly (usually within 24 hours).

Nice clean place, close to the beach and sea world, has all you need for daily use

Everything thing was as expected, the only thing we had an issue with the car garage, way to small for our suv, we had difficulty backing up due to it being very narrow, but besides that, all of us loved it, we will definitely go back
