Cozy Coconut Cottage with A/C!

This two bedroom condo/cottage is one of a kind on the San Diego vacation rental market! With tons of entertainment within walking distance. You can stroll (5 min walk) to Belmont Park, ride the Roller Coaster, buy some cotton candy and play carnival/arcade games. This condo is great for small families (2 adults and 2 kids). For all adult groups we recommend a max of 3. It is conveniently located off of Mission Blvd between the tranquil Bay and Ocean surf! Plus only minutes from the airport.

Your relaxing vacation begins the minute you walk in the door! It is fully equipped for vacation fun! Some features are the dual pane windows that will make it quiet and cozy for your vacation nights and the rare beach feature of A/C in the main living area! There is a washer and dryer and garage parking as well! The kitchen has all main appliances and is fully stocked for meal preparation, dining and entertaining. The living room is equipped with a flat screen, streaming, and cable. There's a cozy queen bed in each bedroom and the sofa has a pull out bed.

Guests will have access to the entire unit and it's available amenities. The outdoor patio has a shared bbq but has an outdoor table specifically for this unit.

We are available when needed but won't bother your daily play! Texting will get the fastest response!

Mission Beach is a laid-back neighborhood whose 2 miles of sandy shores attract surfers, sunbathers and volleyball players. Locals and visitors alike enjoy the paved walking and biking paths that curl around Mission Bay, a popular spot for water sports and family beach days. Casual cafes and eateries line Mission Boulevard, the single road that runs between the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay. Nearby Belmont Park has tons of dining and entertainment options for all ages in addition to the world-famous Mission Beach boardwalk and Giant Dipper Roller Coaster! Just blocks away from the ocean and bay, you’ll experience the best of the beach!

Be sure to check out all San Diego has to offer! You will find yourself centrally located in America’s Finest City with convenient access to the county's most excellent attractions including the world famous San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, Balboa Park, Seaport Village and Harbor, prestigious La Jolla, historic Gaslamp Quarter and much more. There are endless opportunities for fun and entertainment!

There are plenty of taxi cabs in the area, as well as the local bus system that makes stops frequently. We always suggest Uber or Lyft as your most convenient mode of transportation! There are also several bike rental shops up and down Mission Blvd. Or your feet can do most of the work in this small community!

Good Neighbor Policy: This home is surrounded by OWNER OCCUPIED homes. While we understand the Primary Renter and guests are on vacation, the home owners are not. Therefore, we respectfully request Primary Renter and Guests display behavior that is becoming of a typical neighborhood environment. Home owners across San Diego are banning together to eliminate the rentals of private homes as vacation homes. Please help us preserve our right to rent by being respectful neighbors.

NOISE/NO PARTIES: Quiet hours are strictly enforced, 10 pm – 8 am per city ordinance. This property has ZERO TOLERANCE for noise, parties or loud music which includes any excessive daytime noise, cursing, yelling or screaming. Fines will be applied for complaints. Drinking games of any kind ie: beer die, pong, funnels etc. and music that is audible past the property line are strictly prohibited. Immediate eviction can result if these rules are broken.

San Diego Municipal Code 59.5.0502 states that at all times; any amplified sound that can be heard 50 feet away from the rented residence is prohibited. Between 10 PM and 8 AM, even normal conversation must be moved inside the rented residence. Per SDMC 51.1004 and California Penal Code 415.2 noise violations can result in fines (Up to $1,000) for property owners and Renters if there are repeated calls for noise violations to one address. Renters will be liable for any and ALL noise violation fines charged to the property owner. Excessive Noise disruptions can result in immediate eviction without the right to a refund of rental fees or security deposits.

Drugs/ Alcohol: Use of illegal/illicit drugs by any Renter, Guest, Occupant or Visitor in or on the grounds is strictly prohibited. Consumption of alcoholic beverages by a minor under 21 years of age is strictly prohibited.

No Smoking of ANY kind: This is a non-smoking property, both in and on the property. A fee of $1,000.00 will be charged for violation of this rule, plus any costs incurred to remove smoke odor or damage. Smoking includes but is not limited to: cigarette, cigar, marajuana, cocaine, incense, or vaping. While Marajuana is legal in the state of California it is NOT allowed on this property.

Properties are subject to exterior patrol by our staff and homeowner. If Renters are causing a nuisance, having a party, acting detrimentally toward the property, breaking the noise curfew or any stated rules and regulations we reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement, without refund, and immediately remove Renters and guests from the property. Absolutely no disturbances are allowed within this home or anywhere on the property premises. We also reserve the right to refuse occupancy if a house party is suspected.

Our neighbors are very, very sensitive to vacation rentals as it affects their right to live in a peaceful environment therefore we will enforce these policies in exchange for the privilege of renting this home as a vacation rental. The City of San Diego has adopted stricter guidelines for vacation properties and bad operators will not be allowed to rent their homes. If the actions of the Renter and their guests are detrimental to our right to rent as a vacation rental we reserve the right to evict and retain any rental fees and/or security deposits and will report abuse to the rental platforms and will take legal action against Renter if their behavior results in loss of permits.

Guest Occupancy:
Occupancy: The maximum occupancy for this Rental Agreement shall not exceed the number stated on the reservation. Only primary Renter and guests accounted for on the reservation are allowed to be on the property.

Age Restrictions: Primary Renter must be 25 years or older. Guests must be 25 years or older. Parents and children excluded.

No Subletting: If Renter can not keep the reservation please alert us as soon as possible so we can assist in re-renting the unit. If the unit is not re-rented and at the rate of the current reservation Renter will not be refunded their rental fees.

If excessive cleaning is needed, Renter will be charged $100/hour, or actual charges, whichever is greater. If area carpets are excessively dirty after check out Renter will be charged a $300 fee for carpet cleaning or full replacement value PLUS any loss in rental income at $500/night.

NO DAILY MAID SERVICE: Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. The cleaning fee referenced above shall be applied to the cleaning service after check out. If daily maid service is desired it can be arranged for an additional daily fee.

Missing or damaged items will be charged at full replacement cost. Guest is responsible for all damages.

Kitchen: Cooking at high temperatures can result in strong smells that permeates throughout the home and into the fabrics of the home. Excessive odors can come from, but not limited to, popcorn, fish, certain spices etc. Please open windows, use kitchen fans, and be mindful that this is a shared living space. Should a strong odor be detected upon check out, an air purifying fee will be applied.

Check in / Check out:
Per the contract check in time is 4:00 PM and check out is at 10:00 AM. Check in and check out times are strictly enforced, please do not enter the property early without permission. Disruption to the contracted cleaning company’s allotted service time will incur a fee.
Upon Vacating, Renters and guests will follow the provided Check-out Procedure.

Hurricane/ Storm Policy/ Pandemic: Mandatory evacuation by State or Federal Authorities will be sufficient cause for refund. Refunds will only be issued for the specific area and for the dates requiring mandatory evacuation. “Shelter in place” is not considered evacuation orders. Travel bans issued by the government will be cause for credit of funds towards future stay within 1 year of original stay date.

City Ordinance/State law: Renters shall not violate city or state ordinances or laws including noise restrictions, parking restrictions and occupancy restrictions.

Breach of Contract: The Owner may immediately terminate this agreement and take possession if; (a) Renter, guest or someone in the Renter’s control seriously threatens to inflict personal injury, or inflicts any personal injury upon the Owner or other guest; (b) Renter, guest or someone in Renter’s control intentionally inflicts damage to the premises; (c) Renter has vacated the premises and the person in possession is holding possession contrary to item 2a in Rules and and Regulations herein that prohibits subleasing the premises to another or allowing another person to occupy the premises other than the occupants named as Renter in this agreement, and the owner has not knowingly accepted rent from the person in possession; (d) Renter, guest or someone in the Renter’s control commits any act which is outrageous in the extreme;

The location was great, easy access to San Diego and walkable right near the beach. Anytime we had a question, the host was quick to respond. If you are staying here, be prepared for a very tight fit in the garage. I would stay here again.

Property was as expected from listing on VRBO. Check in was easy. The parking spot is tight as it is a shared garage and both spots were holding large cars. But we fit just fine and loaded kids on the street. It worked. The house was initially missing the pack n play however the owner was incredibly responsive and they had a pack n play delivered within an hour. We felt safe with two little kids. It was a great location and within walking distance of the bay, beach and many restaurants. We would stay here again.

My family and I really enjoyed staying here.

This was the perfect vacation rental for our family. The patio was great for people watching. The location was ideal since it was a 30 second walk to Mission Bay. We loved the kitchen and the management company was very easy to work with and available to answer questions. It was also great they had chairs, beach toys, towels and other beach stuff. I would highly recommend this rental!

My family had a great stay at this property. You can’t beat the location and it is right across the street from Belmont Park, shopping, restaurants and fun! I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone and hope we can return for future visits.

We absolutely loved this property. We have stayed at a variety of houses on Mission Beach in the last 20 years, but this one stood out for its cleanliness (they wash the inside of the outdoor garbage cans, y'all!) and accessibility of the property managers. They even left us a gift bag when we checked in. The house is beautifully updated, has a fully loaded kitchen and tons if beach gear to use. And the beds! We usually travel with a queen size memory foam mattress pad because beds at the beach are notoriously AWFUL. We didn't have to even bring the pad out of the car because the bed was so nice. The bathroom is small, but clean. Neighborhood is quiet and we're just a shirt walk to the Bag. Highly recommend this property.

This was an excellent service overall! Everything was incredible and the owner even left us a gift bag with snacks and a bottle of wine. I will rent from this owner again and give her the highest recommendation.

We had a lovely week in the downstairs part of this property. Everything was clean and new, with lots of amenities and a garage full of beach accessories. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, close to the ocean and the bay. Instructions for booking, arriving and departing were all clear and easy--great communication. Thanks!

A well laid out ground floor 2 bedroom in a great location. Cindy (manager) was very responsive and the check-in and out process was fluid. Pros: - great location for beach fun - clean - decently appointed with garage and laundry - very responsive manager who dealt with any issues immediately Cons: - if anyone is in the upstairs unit you hear everything (noise sensitive people want to avoid this unit!) - first night was two small children running back and forth until 11pm, second night was cleaners vacuuming and talking until I texted manager which quickly put an end to it, third night some highschool age party across the lane that got out of hand - a bit dated - shower nozzle not great for taller people Overall we enjoyed out stay and would recommend it as long as you can handle the possibility of noise, otherwise great spot! Thanks!

We spent a week in this beautiful 2 bedroom condo. The A/C was perfect for our two little ones - happy kids mean happy vacation. We were so close to the bay that it was like having a beach for our own backyard. The big kids took the seccond bedroom and the master was very roomy and clean. I loved the set up - other reviews said it was "small"?? We had six in our party and we had plenty of room. The open kitchen area with gas range was awesome. We love cooking and hanging out o the patio. This patio was large and CLEAN!!! We had a great week and cannot wait until next summer. Although we may need to rent the upstairs with all our kids. Loved it - great location and a beautiful property. Thank you!!!
