Beautiful Townhome with Rooftop Patio!

Beautiful newly constructed townhome is located one house from the Beach. You get views of the Pacific Ocean from the kitchen/living room, master bedroom, rooftop deck and the balconies.

Modern finishes and features throughout the unit include stainless appliances, a washer/dryer, granite counter tops, and rain showers. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, the second bedroom has a queen size bed with a single pull out roll away bed and the downstairs room, a converted walk-in closet, has one set of narrow bunk beds, ideal for kids. There are flat screen TVs in the living room and master bedroom.

On the rooftop there is a table and benches to enjoy a meal while taking in the stunning views of the ocean. This unit is close enough to walk to restaurants, shopping, Belmont Park, or the Bay. It is even a short drive to local attractions like: Sea World ~10 minutes, the San Diego Zoo ~15 minutes, Balboa Park ~15 minutes, Downtown San Diego ~15 minutes, and the Torrey Pines golf course ~20 minutes.

This unit also comes with a tandem parking spot that will fit two small cars. Car port dimensions: Height- 101" Width-109 Length: 36 feet

Not as Advertised

When we arrived at the property the trash was spilling out of the garbage can. We called the property management company who said they would take care of it. Fast forward to Monday nothing had been done and because of all the traffic from the 4th I found myself picking up garbage. Also the angle to the entry of the carport you need to be a wizard to get in. There is no room to turnaround and I almost hit the house across from it several times. You will need to back in and if you have a large SVC or truck good luck. Lastly the room with the double bunks isn't a safe room to stay in. Very to little circulation and if you have anyone that is 5'5" or taller they will not fit in this room. This rental should be advertised as a 2 Br 2 bath period end of story. I wont use this company going forward .The picture of the upstairs with pillows is photo shopped. The wood hasn't been stained or sanded in a few years. The pillows were old with multiple stains and different in color.

We got there and we already had workers in there looking to see what was wrong from the previous tenants we went swimming got back no hot water no oven and no barbecue no way to cook anything next day toilet clogged sink not draining there was no hot water either third Day the carpet was so filthy it was disgusting and we kept tripping over and I'm 66 I don't want to break my neck with that carpet so they came and took it out on day three and I was promised a $500 rebate for all the problems we had I'm still looking for that

Worse experience of my life

Location and house was great but on my last night a intruder easily broke in house and stole items. Almost felt like it was setup as there was no forced entry and door lock was not working properly. Police showed up and when property management was called they didn’t respond until hours later.

Good choice for Mission Beach

MB is not a sleepy beach town. Ally noise and street noise is very common but the way this house is set up combats that problem pretty well.

Outstanding getaway

Overall stay was good. Didn’t have room for highlander suv in our parking spot. Room for parking on the street but had to move by 8 on Monday and Thursday due to street cleaning. Would definitely return!

Excellent beach house, a few safety concerns with children

Our stay was great. The location is excellent, and we enjoyed the beach. Check-in was very smooth, and parking was easy. Overall the house was nice with some minimal signs of wear, such as some rust on the heaters, the master bath window was open when we arrived and appeared "stuck"open, a missing can light, and a dent on the dishwasher. The view from the roof was fantastic, and the master suite was huge and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were updated. The kitchen was the perfect size and the washer was nice. The temperature was great, not having A/C was never an issue. I do have a few safety concerns. The main outer door has a large glass window in the center and a deadbolt, and then there is a small foyer followed by a solid inner door and a second deadbolt. However, the room with bunk beds is off the foyer and NOT inside the solid door with the second deadbolt. Given the random strangers we caught rifling through the garbage cans, we weren't comfortable letting our kids sleep in that location. The other safety concern is the main living area on the second floor. A substantial fine is assessed if furniture is not in the exact location it was upon arrival, which we can appreciate, but we had to move the furniture. There are chairs against the glass barrier of the staircase going down, and toddlers can easily fall over the railing and down a flight of stone stairs if on the chairs, and these chairs aren't sturdy. We had a close call and subsequently had to rearrange the furniture after taking a picture so we knew where it went and could avoid the fee. Our toddler is not particularly rambunctious, but he was curious and wanted to "look" over the railing because it was new and different. Luckily we watch him like a hawk and immediately grabbed him. I would strongly recommend that the owners rethink the furniture layout (if they are going to require that chairs be in that location or face a fine) or extend a barrier to the ceiling to prevent young children from falling. Once we moved the chairs, there was no issue. Despite these couple of concerns, we would love to stay here again in the future and we would just anticipate these quirks. This was a great house, great location, great check-in. Probably one of our best VRBO experiences.

Great place & location.

Pictures were accurate, the place was really nice, especially the rooftop. The place is centrally located near markets , restaurants, bars, Belmont park and steps from the beach. Checkin was not as smooth as I wanted it to be, but Mission sands did remedy the problem and give me a $50 gift certificate for the inconvenience. The only negative thing I didn’t like about the place is that the skylight in the master bathroom is a see through clear glass— that means anyone walking in on the rooftop can actually see into the bathroom. I thought that was super weird and creepy, especially when the place is attached to another unit. All & All the house was beautiful and the customer service was impeccable.

Great Location - House was dirty

The building is in a great location, one house from beach and path. The kids loved being close to Belmont Park. The area has cute shops and restaurants nearby. We were not happy with the cleanliness of the house. Linens were clean but floors, windows and window sills were very dirty. The outside furniture was so filthy you could not sit in them. Everything inside and out needed a good scrubbing. I notified the management company and never received a response. I would not stay in one of their properties again.
