Beach getaway

We loved this property, it’s exactly as advertised! It’s in the perfect location just steps away from the beach and the outdoor space is really enjoyable. The only reason we gave 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the cleanliness of the floors. We had a crawling age kiddo and the floors turned his legs and feet black, as well as ours from walking on it. The floor felt grimy to walk on. Aside from that, it was excellent!

spring break trip

We had a great stay! Location was amazing! The home is as described and seen in the photos. We loved the patio in the morning for coffee and again at night with the bonfire. We would definitely stay again if we return to San Diego.

Wonderful!

We had a great stay! Location, location, location! And the outdoor patio was awesome! It was the biggest and prettiest patio on the block! The house was very comfortable and exactly as advertised! We would stay here again!

Cozy, Cute, Very close to the beach

I love this little beach house. We have stayed there the last 2 summers for a week. It steps away from the beach and close to Belmont Park. I love that the family could come and go as we pleased because it was so close to things- sometimes doing things together and sometimes apart. We had a fun and relaxing time. I was hoping to book again this summer but it looks to be blocked with grey. Maybe next time.

Excellent location & cozy and beautiful home!

My parents, husband, and I loved our stay during our 3-day vacation in San Diego- the location was excellent and steps away from the beach. You can hear the waves sitting in their beautiful patio and it's very calming. There are a few amazing local stores, cafes, and restaurants around within walking distance which is convenient! We luckily got to meet our host Sharon when we checked in. She promptly responded to our questions and made sure everything was in place at our rental. The rental place is compact and had minor wear and tear but it wasn't a deal breaker for us because it was homely and worked for us. Highly recommend them!

Location Perfection

This beach house is really in the middle of it all, yet it has a quiet, laid back vibe. It’s just steps to the beach and a very short walk to Belmont Park, They thought of everything and had beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, and sand toys to use during the stay. The washer/dryer combo was incredibly convenient for wet swimsuits. The whole stay was a wonderful way to begin our summer break. We will most definitely be back!

We had a great time gathering on the patio with a fireplace that warmed our hearts and our bodies. The property manager was so nice. The place was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for all our cooking needs. A short walk to the beach!

Perfect spot for beach and city in San Diego

We stayed here for four nights in May 2024 and were very very pleased with the location, amenities, accessibility, and comfort of this beach house. It is a very short walk to the Mission Beach (we didn't even wear shoes some of the time) and a close walk to a market, a few restaurants, and Mission Bay. It is close to highway 8 so getting to other San Diego spots like the zoo and Balboa Park is quick. We had a minivan and it fit well in the spot provided. PLENTY of beach toys, boogie boards, chairs, and towels are provided. Sharon was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. My kids loved the bunk beds. Some areas of the house are showing some normal wear and tear, but nothing more than expected and all the appliances worked great. Linens, paper goods, and kitchen supplies were provided. It was very comfortable for our family of five, and again, the location is hard to beat. Book it, you won't regret it.

Nice location

Loved the proximity to the beach. There are a couple of markets within a couple of blocks and a great little coffee stand. Only complaint was that the sheets on the top bunk were not clean, they were covered in sand and crumbs.

Lovely stay for a family of 5!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The sounds of the ocean echo through the living space and when you open your doors, The ocean waves remind you how close you are to Paradise. The decor is very cute and gives off vacay vibes. The beds are comfortable, the appliances Fit all the needs, and the outside area is such a wonderful place to chill. When I had an issue, turning on the fire pit, the owners came right away to show me how to operate it The location is really. Very close to Belmont Park, where there are plenty of places to entertain families. Also super close to some cute coffee, shops, and storefront restaurants that serve for great meals in a pinch. I would definitely stay in this location again And really loved every minute of it.

Mission Beach memories.

This place was a perfect fit for us! The separate bedrooms and bathrooms were great for 2 couples. So close to the beach we could hear the surf from the patio! Late night chats around the fire pit were wonderful. Easy walk to markets, dining and cafes. Very quiet and relaxing. Excellent communication and directions. One suggestion is to update the bath fan in the laundry/bathroom. It starts normally but after a couple minutes only blows hot air. It didn’t bother us at all bc it was a little cool during our March stay but others may find it uncomfortable.

Great Spot For Family Vacation

Excellent location and accommodations for our family vacation. Unit was very clean and had decent quality furniture throughout. The kids loved the bunk beds! Lots of towels and beach toys are available for use. Kitchen has all the dishes etc you need for preparing meals and a dish washer. There is a washer and dryer in the unit for laundry as well. Patio has a BBQ, dining table and some comfortable chairs / love seat as well as a fire table for hanging out after the kids are down for the night. Area is quieter than north Mission or Pacific beach. Beach was awesome and extremely short walk. Went down for sunset most days and to watch the surfers. There is a good Mexican food place, small market, and liquor store within 2 blocks and larger grocercy stores etc are only a short drive away. The hosts were very responsive to anything we needed. The only minor annoyance was you are right under the flight path of the airport. Not loud enough to be a big disturbance inside but you notice it on the patio for sure. Our kids were thrilled to see all the planes so it was probably a positive to them.

Home away from home.

Perfect! Our daughter graduated from MCRD. This property is only minutes away from there and the airport. We are 8 when we are all together, it was a little cozy inside with all of us inside, but we were all comfortable sleeping and 2bathrooms

Cute place! Great location!

Nice comfortable place. There were 4 of us visiting and we were able to walk to dinners and drinks out. The beach is right down the walkway. The hosts very quick to respond to questions and were very friendly. We would stay here again.
